  • can somebody send me a link on were to get the noctua fan?

    thanksx (:

  • This CPU cooler or the Corsair H50?

  • u have my motherboard and the case

  • Comment removed

  • was it difficult to install this cooler-?? Many people have issues so i have heard:(

  • maxishine is an australian too ^^

  • @asus3571 no, what I'm saying is that if you have a fan on your side panel

directly above your CPU then you will have to remove the fan from the side panel, not the side panel itself, just the fan. Hope this clears it up.

  • @Nihat007 hey did you get a tight fit with this heat sink?the new one i got for a rampage 3 board, dips outwards and downwards when i stand up my mobo, the sprins screws do not keep the central plate in posistion,i would be grateful for any tips,i followed all the instructions,i think its badly designed and don't know how yours stays firmly in place

  • @Nihat007 hey i can see in your vid that you got a deeper screw in with the spring screws than me,how the hell did you do this?yours are at least 5 mm deeper than mine,my ones stop and wont go any further, maybe this is where the problem is

  • swwet man i hope that was a cm690 i have the cm690 advanced and was going to get a megahelem for my i7920 does that cpu cooler fit in that case let me know bro the weekend is fast approching

  • @asus3571 yeah it does, thats what i'm using right now, but you will have to remove a side panel fan if your using one there.

  • @Nihat007 im confused a bit u say it fits but ill have to remove a side panel so bassicall it doesnt fit ???

  • What size fans are those?

  • @SimCity4IE 120mm

  • @Nihat007 Awesome, thanks!

  • holy shait when did coolers become that big. i still have a xp1600+ system..

  • Awesome heatsink, just fitted one this weekend. Allowed me easily to crank up my i7 860 from 2.8Ghz to 4Ghz. Max load temps of around mid 60s.

  • @raan2 really...planning on buying one

  • @SavaMarkovicPilot missed this completely, sorry. Yes, awesome cooler. Massive though, but awesome.

  • what board is that? it looks really good :) is it the gigabyte ex58?

  • Sure is, its the EX58-UD4

  • how does it stack up against hte rampage II?

  • Are All Ram-sticks fitting mit the fans on?

    Is it a Gigagyte Ga-Ma790XTA-UD4P?

  • Theres plenty of clearance for the ram sticks.

  • I hate my case. I have a Giga UD3R and after seeing this I see this cooler would let me beast my cpu but it won't fit my mid-tower...at least I don't think it will. Stuck with my Vendetta :-( Nice rig by the way.

  • @rossmart34 i have to have the side of my case off all the time :P

the heatpipes are too tall, just a few mm

  • @rossmart34 what tower u usein u'd be surprized

  • he sounds like maxishine, , ,

  • do you think it will fit in my coolmaster haf 932?? because im a bt worried about the side fan on the case

  • not sure about the haf 932 as i'm not aware of the internal dimensions, fan height etc., but I did have to remove one of the 120mm fans on my RC690's side panel (the one directly above the CPU). The Megahalems measures at 158.7mm tall (from your CPU). Maybe you can measure the clearance, hope this helps!

  • its gonna be close :P, ill tell u if it fails when ive bought it lol

    thanks though

  • is it the same measures of true black?

  • True black is supposed to be 160.5mm tall.

  • it just fit in my Antec p183

  • ok no worries and for any1 wondring if it fits in the HAF... it does perfectly lol :P

  • do you still have lots of space? coz i have the haf 922 and i wonder if it fits.

  • @xMExHKSx fits nicely in mine with about 2 inches clearence from the case :)

  • you sound like maxishine lol, or you got this video from maxi not sure >D

  • yeah i get that a lot, but trust me we're 2 different ppl :)

  • What Mainboard is this? Did you have any problems installing the Megahalems because of the boards' own cooling parts?

  • It's the Gigabyte X58-DS4, had no problems at all.

  • You sound exactly like Maxishine, lol. Search Maxishine here on youtube.

  • Sounds like a typical Aussie accent to me :P

  • This Noctua S12B is for case cooling, but not for a tight radiators, because is doesn't have good static pressure. You need Noctua NF-P12 for heatsinks. Look for info on Noctua webpage under "which fan is right for me".

  • dude u have good taste..i have the same motherboard, the same blu-ray player and yes, i also have a xbox (i saw him there laying under the bed, all alone..)

i'm getting the Noctua for 1366 though, its gonna be such a improvement compared to my Nexus LOW 7000 i have now ^^

  • dude its almost like you guys are twins or something maybe you should have rough gay sex!

  • The v10 is a big hunk of fail. This thing kicks the shit out of it.

  • yeah its better than the v10 buy a margin and its half the price of the v10

  • how does the fan stay on ?

  • with metal clips

  • how does this cooler compare to the cooler master v 10. is it better?

  • The Megahalems beats the V10 hands down, and it's a lot smaller and half the price!!!!

Anything over $100 for cooling consider a water cooling kit.
