The Earth, and all other matter in the known universe just came into being at some point in time, and the Earth just happens to be the exact right distance from the sun to not be too hot/cold to support life. Same mistake (?) all women make when singing: They sing like the stereotypical woman sings, with 90% of it the head voice. Singing sounds so much better when it's in the chest and mix voice.
Love how she either couldn't, or didn't think she could, hit the higher notes, so she went way up into her falsetto, and then dropped an octave. XD

Isabel, I heard this song again by the original artist, but had to go back to my favorites and listen to you singing it. I commented more than two years ago to this song and it is sad to see how many hateful people have commented to your song. I mean the outright devils who blaspheme God and His Word, Jesus. @ihmen In theory, but not in practice. People find it WAY TOO HARD to simply BELIEVE. That's why Catholicism exists. Because simply believing is too simple, it's not rewarding enough. Your statements simplify things to such an absurd degree that it doesn't really mean anything. It is neither here nor there.
But, continuing with your reasoning, what about the converse? People who don't believe in God LOVE to convince themselves that He doesn't exist, because they DISLIKE the idea of going to hell

@AtariMaxiToriyama christians i know tell me that getting into heaven isnt based on works, its whether or not you believe jesus died for your sins. that sounds like a pretty big motivator for someone to accept an idea if there is a reward such as eternity in paradise for doing so.
i wouldnt agree that the reason atheists dont believe in god is just because they dislike the idea of going to hell. because us jews are apparently going to hell, but we're still theists.

I agree mustkilln00bs...what god? The Earth, and all other matter in the known universe just came into being at some point in time, and the Earth just happens to be the exact right distance from the sun to not be too hot/cold to support life. Everything in nature just came into balance on its own, and all living organisms (plants and animals) evolved from single cell organisms by chance billions of years ago. You are right though, what evidence is there to support belief in God???

ok, first off, the bible is made up of many authors as Im sure you know, all inspired by God over a period of more than 1000 years. If you were to spend time studying the bible (which takes years, or a good teacher) you will notice that it is not just 66 little books but one big book, as often things in the OT correspond with the NT that the authors would never have been able to write about had it not been from God's inspiration.

as for some stories in the bible, it is hard for us to explain because we are only human, But if there is a God, don't you think He would be capable of doing things that are not humanly possible? I understand it is confusing, but you are missing out on the bigger picture that Christianity is all about. I can explain that later as I'm going run out of room here.
