Question: what kind of truck do you prefer a European or a American? and even why you like it more than the other. Since you guys drive both american and european trucks I am a bit curious about what you prefer. PM me. Greetings from Sweden! Nice vids btw...
Only 90KPH max especially when filming! Sames as 56mph We are allowed to go 90 on single carriageway here so that prob looks fast compared to your 40mph. Some trucks go faster but most voluntary limit to 102kph. We have a very heavy enforcment of speed here as well.
is truck driving a fun job? ime only 15 but at school were looking into jobs and need to choose my type of job, truck driving looks awsome to me cruising on the road all day. thht driver is lucky, better thn a office job
At the moment it is quite well paid compared to other ordinary jobs in UK. Long hours tho and alot of work involves being away from home overnight, all week or months even! Big responsibility if something goes wrong. Novelty of sleeping in truck soon wears off. Best to go for a ride with several reputable firms and see for yourself. things are changing fast tho with more countries joining EU providing cheap labour. Study hard and learn a trade skill as well first plumber/builder/welder etc..
wow thanks for the advice, i have a option for some work experience with building and plumping and stuff, but how can you be a truck driver and a plumber at the same time? Because you said i should learn to get a trade skill...
My uncle is a truck driver but retired now but i used to be on the road with him and loved it, hopefully i just make the right decision of getting into driving as i grow a little older, but genrally, do you actually enjoy the job?
Lots of b-trains yes, see my channel comments for more info. Also many 8x4 truck with 4 axle dolly-drawbar setup. A change in rules is seeing many 8x4 tractor units towing 4 axle semi trailer as the road tax is cheaper. The last two axles are passive steer. See "pinetrees" inter in the other vid for quad setup
got any more vids like these on the job ones
