@kawola17 I'm sorry, but he's not idiot for not guessing the wrong answer. His argument was totally true. If the question was more precise, he'd split the money for sure.
The metal-cased blue-and-silver Walkman TPS-L2, the world's first low-cost portable stereo, went on sale in Japan on July 1, 1979. In June 1980, it was introduced in the U.S.
On April 6, 1980, the product debuted in US stores as "Post-It Notes."
The first Macintosh computer was introduced on January 24, 1984
@mctim89 And your sad "ENOUGH" Not to spell correctly. Knowledge something you are unfamiliar with. Go back to your bedroom / clubhouse and play with your way off beat, fisher price sequencers , "Timmy".
@rivercidal i do no how to spell its jsut quicker this way. plus this is not common knowledge. stating the exact date that post-it notes were created lol... definately researched...
@MrTimmy112 Actually, I was selling Sony Walkmans at my stores in 1976. The shows answer was actually correct. You all (including the show creators) are idiots.
The key is "SOLD in stores" NOT which was invented first, or given away as samples...IF the question were "invented first" the answer would, in fact be Post-its. He's correct about the development-it was a bad batch of glue. HOWEVER, THIS WAS NOT THE LAST QUESTION....which was also incorrect.
FOX researchers says, post it notes was distributed as "samples only" before it went on sale! what a lame excuse for a big mistakes. when you put samples on a store shelf, whatever item it may be, is destined to be sold!
I remember one popular TV network game from Philippines being hosted by a popular female host. In one of the game episode. the contestant requires to name Korean companies that produces Vehicles (cars). he loses his game because Samsung was declared wrong answer.
Sorry, left out important detail - these contestants won nothing, because answering the final question wrong is a loss, period. Hence, what happened here makes no difference.
@quadrupleplay Look how devastated they are, you think that had no impact on their state of mind or ability to think clearly in the next round? They are devastated due to no error on there part. Even the court allows for my argument by including "state of mind" as a condition for any legally binding processes. If they answered correctly who knows what choice they'd have consequently made. Do you?
"they lost anyway is not a good enough solution and in fact not even a solution at all"
I'm sure If they would have put all the money on the Walkman instead then it would have dropped. Fox is full of a bunch of tools.
