  • why do so

  • @mujah209 the surgery? Conditions like fibroids, heavy bleeding and adenomyosis require hysterectomy. However this is a major surgery and should only be done if other treatments are not working.

  • i remember when my mom had this done. it was a tough recovery but y mom had a great doctor (who is not my doc) who did the surgery. heh, he even gave my mom a suprise tummy tuck while he did the major surgery. my mom was supposed to be taking hormone replacements but shes doing fine without them. modern medice rocks

  • @ParadiseReptiles1 how's your mom doing now? is she feeling better then before she had this?

  • @DBCrowns shes doing great. better than she was before the surgery. she had fibroids that was causeing problems and one of her overies was basically dead. shes a lot better now. the surgery was done like 10 years ago but still.

  • @ParadiseReptiles1 OH that's great.. NO Osteopersosis or No Pain? That's great..

  • @DBCrowns she hasnt had any problems since. no pain at all from what i can tell.

  • omg my mom has to get this im soo scared she has fibro and lupis =( so it will be 10 times worse ugh i love u mom wish u the best will be there for u no matter what

  • whats the point of leaving the overies?, if ur uterus is gone isnt the overies not of any use after that?

  • is it true you loose feeling when having sex

  • @apolanco602 No. They are removing reproductive organs, not the vagina.

  • @apolanco602 wanted to know thanks

  • hmm my incision was vertical not horizontal.

  • my mom JUST HAD this surgery, shes awake and in hella pain, she went into immediate menopause......god give me strength cuz her menopause is gunna suck

  • this is the worst thing for any woman of any age to do

  • this may be a hysterectomy but I wanna ask why do most parents have their kids circumcised at birth what risks are there if the penis is left uncircumcised

  • @MMBNM There's no real risk to leaving a penis uncircumcised. A lot of parents leave their children uncircumcised. The real only reason is for cleanliness and maintenance. There's no foreskin to clean, and it's just easier to maintain. Less showers have to be taken with parents in order to educate them on how to clean their foreskin, and all that. It's just for convenience. There's no real risk. They can choose to get themselves circumcised later, if they choose, too.

  • @aftonmielke It really depends. My cousin had problems with infections quite often as a young boy and he was cleaned quite often. They did get worse when it started to become inappropriate for his parents to be thoroughly cleaning his penis, and telling a 5 year old to do it is difficult. She got him circumcised at 5 and it was painful and he remembers it. My husband is really grateful his parents did it for him at birth and more men who are uncircumcised have pre-ejaculation problems.

  • @BlatantlyBritt That's all bullcrap. If a kid's uncircumcised penis gets infected even if it's clean the reason lies elsewhere. What a terrible excuse to mutilate your child. Remember, this horrible tradition came from the muslims, who wanted to exterminate pleasure in sex and make it a reproduction procedure. It's funny how people translated that to "no more pre-ejaculation problems, more sex". But what am I saying, it's good for women to mutilate men and have them last more in sex...

  • @tsr4l right on, screw everyone that believes males should be circumcised! Freakin' barbaric desert dogma.

    .

  • @BlatantlyBritt Because women can experience multiple orgasms and men can't. So let's make that single orgasm less intense, make men vulnerable to erectile dysfunction a lot earlier in life, and make sure their penis's can't get up at all when they hit 40-50 and they get bored of you. Man, I'm telling you. This is all about women and their benefits. I saw your vids. I can tell you're a feminist from miles away. Have fun with your puppy-husband.

  • @tsr4l I'm the furtherest thing from a feminist. And I have had sex with men with uncircumcized penises. Anger and aggression will only mask your intelligence. There's no reason for you to point your finger at me. I am just saying I have seen logic in it before. I didn't say I want all little boys to conform and have the skin on their dicks chopped off. You made a comment and I made mine. I didn't call you anything, and you don't need to act like a toddler calling names and being rude.

  • @tsr4l By the way. Since you're going to take your time and come looking all over my page for something to call me... you found your word "feminist".. maybe you should have also taken the time to look at the videos I'm liked, watched, and favorited recently. I'm a big fan of "The Amazing Atheist" and have recently liked his "Feminist Hate - Week" video. The entire video bashes feminism and I liked it. Investigate further before being an ass.

  • @MMBNM it can easily get infected and cause alot of pain

  • Schau doch mal bei Facebook unter " Schmerzfrei in 5 Minuten" vorbei, eine geniale Sache, wirkt wirklich.

  • *twitches violently* uhh im NEVER getting one :*

  • @eleanorayoulateagain-LOVE YOUR NAME!! but I am soooo happy i got the REAL procedure, I feel like a million bucks-my sex life is excellent-better then ever!!!

i recommend everyone to get a hysterectomy or a partial (as long as you don't want any kids-or no more kids)

I saved soooo much cash on feminine products. AND NO NOTHING CHANGES WITH YOUR BODY IN TERMS OF SEXUAL FEELINGS- IT'S ACTUALLY BETTER!!

  • @kricketbx Hi there! Well I am eight days POST-op. The surgery was a success and I am sore but so happy to be done with the huge fibroids and the threat of more pulmonary embolisms, as well as anemia.

Can't wait for the swelling to go down so that I can see what my new body looks like! :) Also wondering what "pain-free" sex will finally be like. :)

The biggest bonus is absolutely no more periods! :)

  • @DBCrowns I lost all of the excess baggage from the large fibroid tumors that were in my uterus -- three in all. I'm feeling just wonderful at the beginning of recovery week #4. :)

  • @kricketbx how long is the recovery???? do u lve the hospital the sme day

  • @kricketbx how long is the recovery???? do u lve the hospital the sme day

  • @1234567820780 If it is an open hysterectomy, I think the patient should stay about three days in the hospital.

  • how many will it take to recover from bed rest after hysterectomy .....

  • Chapter 1 : An Intact Woman : "You don't need a hysterectomy. It can do you more harm than good. /// Those are strong words, but the fact is that more than 90 percent of hysterectomies are unnecessary. Worse, the surgery can have long-lasting physical, emotional, and sexual consequences that may undermine your health and well-being..." Fr. "The Hysterectomy Hoax" (1994) by Stanley West, M.D. with Paula Dranov

  • I am having my uterus removed on Nov 25 and i hope i feel better ..not looking forward to a painful recovery

  • I just found out today I have to have this done asap. It has to be done abdominally

through my c-section scare which I guess is good because I have had 4 beautiful children, and I know what the recovery is like from that which comforts me a little however I'm so scared I have over 200 cists so it's going to be a complete not partial. Im just afraid of how I will feel. If I will still feel like a woman intamently and emotionally.

  • I had a partial hysterectomy 9 years ago and it was the best thing that could have ever happened. Before the procedure, I would bleed heavy with lots of blood clots ( from small ones to extremely large in size) and had a continued period ( in other words, I would not stop bleeding and kept bleeding for 9 months straight!) A hysterectomy is not going to make you a lazy person, change who you are or decrease your desire to have sex.

  • i want to have kids so i hope i won't need a hysterectomy. my mom had one when i was little.

  • hey, i'm 20 and i've had pelvic pain for four days now. i had two ultrasounds friday. my mom thinks it's my ovaries. i should know something tomorrow. what could be wrong?

  • I'm going to have an abdominal hysterectomy soon, because a Novasure ablation damaged my uterus and cervix beyond repair. Now I have cervical stenosis and fluid keeps getting trapped in the uterus, causing severe pain. I'm upset that I need a hysterectomy. It's supposedly no picnic, there's a long, recovery , 6 to 8 weels, and there can be complications like prolapse--not to mention the symptoms of instant menopause.. I regret letting that doctor talk me into having an ablation.

  • @novelist99 My dear your going to be just fine. Although your not going to be running a marathon anytime soon afterward, you will see in the long run that it is going to make your life ( and health ) a whole lot better. Depending on your age ( like me at 43) each woman is different when it comes to menopause. I did not experience mine until last December ( my very first experience!) and I had my hysterectomy back in 2001.

  • Seeing this actually being done is really disturbing, and sickening... THo I can handle it. My mom would be running to the bathroom to throw up if she saw it tho, lol.. My grandma had a hysterectomy done after she had my mom, and my uncle [so in mid-20's I guess..] and she's only 56, but.. even so... She hasn't had a period since.. LUCKY...

I mean, the thought of never having a period again, or being able to bear children.. Believe it or not, sounds marvelous to me.. But I'd rather take a pil

  • Does hysterectomy gives any complications or side effect especially normal sex?

  • No no no no NOO!!! Figures, I just got tricked into watching a computer generated person get pretend reverse castrated. Darn you you screwy nucleus. At least I know how this procedure is done. That's useful information literally every single person who's on here absolutely needs to know. No matter how old they are. For sure. ;D

  • If a woman had a full hysterectomy, does she can continue having a normal sex life. And how about the sperm? Where will they go???

  • @AlicetraSheLen When the cervix is removed, the top of the vagina is stitched closed, so the sperm comes back out.

  • can the women continue having a normal sex life after hysteroctomy?

  • @ptmc0202 A woman's sex life can be even better since there's no worry about getting pregnant. The spontaneity is totally awesome!

  • MY AUNT SUSAN HAD AN ABDOMINAL HYSTERCTOMY DONE

  • I love this video I had a vaginal hysterectomy on June 23, 2010 and my recovery went very well and I'm only 30 years old.. Loving the fact that I wont be having heavy bleeding because of endometreosis.

  • @nem1908 I had laparascopic surgery! I'm working on my 4th week. The hotflashes are unbearable now. I had 12 episodes in one day! I'm 40 and Have a 22 & 16 yr old so having children anymore doesn't matter to me. I also had cysts on my ovaries so having a hysterectomy was a great option for me! (Now if I can get the hotflashes under control I would feel better)

  • @itsmemaxi My doctor waited six months before putting me on any hormone medication due to my endometriosis. She was concerned that if there were any tiny pieces left behind, they would start to grow since the endometriosis was fed by estrogen. I no longer take the Cenestin, but it really helped with the hot flashes. Some antidepressants like Paxil are known to help with the symptoms too although I don't know why. Check with your doctor about the Cenestin.

  • @mmmbad

  • the laparascopic version is still fairly new but it provides less scaring because it is minimally invasive

  • I had a full hysterectomy June 18, 2010..still in recovery! Can't wait to experience the no bleeding syndrome next month! The recovery is long & sore but well worth it i'm hoping in the months to come.. GL on your surgery~

  • @itsmemaxi i cant underdstand something.. if you do this as i imagine you cant have kids do you? that's very sad in my point of view.. dont you think so?

  • I typed in the search box Muy thai deadly skills and tis video is the first thing that pops up in the list. how nice.

  • I gotta question???? I have cysts on my ovaries, they say I have endometroasis well if I get a hysterectomy can I keep my uterus being its ok,the ovaries r my problem?

  • You never ever need a hysterectomy for fibroids. Watch the trailer below: Hysterectomy: One Out Of Three Women By Age 60,

  • If only there was something other than removing a body part to cure uterine cancer, fibroids, etc because it pains me to see a beautiful complex body such as woman's to go through that and to lose the gift of giving life. You women have beautiful bodies. Treat it well.

  • Very Informative ..........

  • I jest found out about this how does it feel and can you have sex I no I soound dum but hey I gota ask

  • @knk63

When all is healed, sex is normal.

The uterus organ is for child bearing, the other structures associated with arousal and orgasm remain in tact. The only thing that has changed with a correctly performed procedure is the removal of the child bearing organ.

In most cases, sex is painful with a fibrous, cancerous, constantly bleeding or diseased uterus and is another reason for the procedure.

    Hope this helped.

  • @Candy12ization,

Don't worry...you're not the only one. God gave me this body part and I'm loving it!

  • I have a birthcontrol called implanon in my arm, so, i dont have many periods to begin with.

These videos are quite intriguing to the mind of an 18yearold with a high anxiety disorder and prehypertension. I must admit tho, having your vaginal organs removed because you dont like your period is dumb. Now if its a medical thing that involves hysterectomies then its different, but just because you dont like your "rag" doesnt mean you should have everything that makes you "you" removed.

    ~emokitten

  • I don't think they will give you a hysterectomy for just birth prevention or you don't want periods anymore. They operate for cancers, large fibroids and excessive bleeding and pain.

  • @DBCrowns I'm having one because I bleed alot and have pain so that's untrue. Im 27 have no children (because im infertile")

  • @wiccanme82 she didnt say that... read her/his statement again. He said they won't give you a hyst for birth control!!!!!!!!!

  • Hello ladies. I have a very large fibroid and have had a hysterectomy recommended. I'm really anxious about this because I am quite overweight and the doctor says the abdominal surgery will be tricky b/c of it. Can't do vaginal. Can anyone offer feedback or advice? How bad will it be?

  • Hi Karin, I just had a hysterectomy on 12-18-09. I spent 4 days in the hospital. The first 7 days are the hardest, pain-wise. I regret to inform you that being overweight can be very problematic, you see, the incision is made right along the top of your pubic hair(directly under the belly flap) I'm not very overweight, however, I found myself having to "lift my belly" to clean the incision. You are at a high risk for infection because your wound will never be able to "dry out" and heal.

  • @karinvandenberg

i had a partial hysterectomy my ovaries were left :) its the best thing ever!!! i swear i wish i had done this years ago!!!

no more HEAVY PERIODS wHOOOO HOOO!!!

  • @kricketbx How much does this surgery cost?

  • i'm not quite sure, the hospital was aleast $9,000, plus surgeon $5,000, anesth. 2500, lab test $1100. If you have insurance, just use your inn provider's and hope to have the least patient out of pocket. The procedure is med nec, if your anemic and the fibroids are quite large, and you have heavy bleeding.....

  • @kricketbx: having mine done June 21, and my sentiments are the same. I cannot wait to have this partial hysterectomy done, woooo hooo to!!! LOL. How do you feel today?

  • @kricketbx I know how you feel. After all the heavy periods (in my case blood transfusions) it was the best thing that ever happened to me! Anyone having surgery should know after you recover you will be glad your uterus is GONE!

  • @kricketbx I have been trying to convince my doctor to perform one!

  • @kricketbx e ha'

  • @kricketbx I had a total hysterectomy in 1997 due to endometriosis. My doctor said it was the worst case she'd ever seen. Before my surgery, I told the doctor to take out the whole kit and kaboodle while she was in there so I wouldn't have to go through any more female surgery. No more pain! YAY!

  • @kricketbx I agree. Its a wonderful thing!!!

  • @kricketbx That's great that you still have your ovaries that makes all the difference. I am glad that my periods are gone, though :)

  • @kricketbx Hi! I'll be having a hysterectomy in a few weeks and I am SO SCARED. This video was very informative even though it made me cringe a bit. I am so glad that you are doing well. I'm to have a partial hysterectomy as well. I have terrible uterine fibroids which have caused me to have two pulmonary embolisms in the last two years, along with that, I was placed on blood thinners, have severe anemia -- you know the drill.

Actually looking forward to the surgery. :)

  • @kricketbx no more kids either boohoo

  • @karinvandenberg Hi there I am just recovering from a hysterectomy, I had 2 large fibroids removed and my uterus was full of small ones. You are uncomfortable for 2 or 3 days,as you need to lie on your back but after then you get stronger and stronger,I went for a walk down by the river yesterday and cant believe its only a week. mentally you want to do all sorts but you cant, I cant even reach my egyptian cotton dressing gown down from the bathroom. Hope I've helped. Good Luck !

  • @unaduetre: having mine done June 21. Are you experiencing bleeding like a period or is that all gone? I can't wait to have this procedure done. I have had a Myo, Laproscopic to remove additional fibroids and now this procedure to final relieve myself of this disease uterious. Trying to find out what to expect.

  • I had a vaginal hysterectomy about 6 weeks ago. I'm in my mid 40's and am diabetic. I had my uterus, ovaries, tubes, and cervix removed. I feel fantastic and wished I'd did this procedure years ago. I did have an ablation first, the Nova Sure one, but it just didn't work for me. I still bled all the time. Please be aware that if you do get the ovaries removed as I did, you go into menopause and what comes with that immediatley. Having this procedure was the best thing I ever did! Good Luck!!

  • @dbmomof03 Glad you made it through your surgery fine. Just wondering what to expecy w/ menopause?

  • I am recovering from an abdominal hysterectomy (my ovaries were also removed, they were unable to take out my cervix) This was two weeks ago. The op, although major, is routine for the surgeons.

  • Hi can you tell me how you are doing now? are you in pain still?

  • wow. this is kinda horrible. how are you feeling?

  • i am glad i watched this video but i am so scared about this procedure can any1 please tell me a lil more abt this procedure please

  • Most of it will depend on if you are having a abdominal or vaginal and if you are having a your ovaries removed or not. The laparoscopic part doesn't make that much of a difference. Vaginal, you tend to heal much much faster.

  • Hi,

Are you going to have one? If so, what type of procedure are you thinking about having done? I had a total vaginal hysterectomy and really it wasn't bad at all.

  • Oh I know how you feel I'm the same way. I've never wanted children, I'll be 29 tomarrow, and still feel the same. I'd like too be spayed for other reasons like cancer, there's alot of it in my family. However I want a full hysterectomy, everything OUT!!!! Hopefully when I get in my fourties I'll be able to have it done, before something deadly happens to it!

  • Amen to that...

  • i am so glad to see these vids

  • i am so glad these vids. are available...

  • i hve to hve one done soon and i also scared. Im not to happy with the idea but i need to get it done. The doc said that it will take about 4wks to heal.

  • pls tell me how to download this video...tnx

  • I had a hysterectomy 2 1/2 weeks ago. In April I was diagnosed with uterine fibroids and endometreosis. I am 32 years old. The doctor who performed my surgery said I had the largest fibroid he had ever removed. It was 13 cm and another one that was the size of a golf ball. I chose to have the operation because my belly stuck out & was uncomfortable lying on my belly. I tried natural alternatives and even shots to shrink fibroid but nothing worked. I am pleased with the surgery and am well

  • Comment removed

  • Don't be scared. I had it done when I was 23 yr olds due to Cervical cancer and endometriosis and I am 37 yrs old now. As a matter of fact. Every woman in my family has had it done and none of us have ever had a problem. It is worth it to be pain free. I was back to work in less than two weeks. Good luck.

  • @APHRODITE1099 Can you contact me please?

  • i was diagnosed with same thing at 32 and im 35 now and scheduled for surgery in a few weeks. Were you in alot of pain afterward?

  • GOOD LUCK....................

  • Never use words like most cases. ...hygiene has nothing to do with a family history of uterine cancer . So this must be the exception, right? Fibroid tumors another, abnormal uterine bleeding another. The PAP smear does not avoid this procedure.

  • There's a new book, "The H Word", that tells you everything you want to know about the alternatives to hysterectomy and the consequences of the surgery.

  • I don't know about alternatives but my friends mom got that done now she a moustache growing and takes estrogen pills.

  • Comment removed

  • My mom had this done a few years after I was born. Apparently her uterus was absolutely covered in uterine fibroids.

My aunt got hers out a few months ago as well, and she had two baseball sized fibroids. Ugh...it runs in my family! Nooo!!

  • if a women get a Hysterectomy will they still have there pearet

  • if a women get a Hysterectomy they can't have there period because they take the whole uterus out and that is where the blood fills up, and then if the sperm and the egg dont meet then the blood throws out the uterus and out the vagina but if theres no uterus theres no blood.

  • thanks for telling me

  • how did i get a thumbs down its the truth !?!?!?!?

  • god my mum has to have that done :s

  • if a women gets a Hysterectomy can they still have sexual incorse ?

  • Yes,however she cannot have children anymore

  • ok thanks for telling that

  • they only remove the uterus not the vagina

  • Bebe313ily: i know that

  • 2:09 surprised youtube didnt see that a porn XD

  • my had sugery like the first one

  • Thank you very much indeed. It's really a nice presentation.

  • ill protect my life

  • My mom had this type of surgery because she had cancer there :( but at least i have brothers and a sister who annoys me O.o a 16 and 21 and 20 year old brother and im 15 -_-

  • I had my uterus removed last month, all went well i'm still recovering ,this is a grate video ,i whish i watched it before just to have more clear idea of the surgery,

    thanyou

  • Hi ponchia, can you tell me how you are doing now after the hyst?

  • Hi DBC,no pain inside, just a little near my belly botton, it becouse of adhesions, which is normal.non too worry and good luck if you goin to have surgery.x

  • Gotta have mad respect for doctors who perform such procedures; not only have they got the skill to do it, but the bottle too.

  • ugh the 2 last ones look friken painful o_o

  • omg what an awful awful procedure, especially for young women who still want kids. i guess it wouldn't be so bad if you are older and already have children.

  • thank you 4 this I have been looking every where to figure out what they were going to do to me then wouldn't you know I find the 1 video that is not yucky and that I can understand but it is 4 days AFTER my surgery...at least it didn't hurt as bad as I thought it would the only prob. is they gave me inlimited morphine (if thats how you spell it) they said anytime U feel pain just push the button" and on my last day they told me I was on my death bed from pushing the button too much

  • I don't wanna loose my uterus! D:!!!! IT'S MINE!!!

But, I wonder how it would feel... probably all empty if you stick up a finger... XD omg o.o

  • you could always put it in a jar and keep in on the coffee table.

  • hehehe...

  • thanks sio much for uploading the videos

  • Nice n informative video...

  • IM SCARED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is the most horrendous thing I've ever seen, please god dont ever make me have to go thru this :(

  • I dont know how much god can hep you to avoid it.but if you'll have a healthy life and you keep yourself informed and do regular chek up you might dont need togo thru it. x

  • its good to know what the hell they gonna do there it good grafic i gonna have mine this monday

  • hey did it hurt

  • no too bad..

  • OMG thats just HORRIBLE! You shall NEVER take miiiiiiiiiiiiiine. *closes eyes*

  • My girlfriend wants one of these to stop her periods and to make sure she doesn't get pregnant. Her first reason I can understand, but her second one...I don't know.

  • lol why wont she just wait until her menopause?

  • how is that going to take cancer away?

  • ohhh, i ought this was only for people who wanted no periods and stuff

  • no its for cancer. or some other stuff.

  • If there is cancer inside the walls of the uterus, the whole uterus is taken out.

  • it depends on the stage of the cancer

  • What if you're eaten away by cancer ? Do you have a better alternative ?

  • The original comment had to do with someone getting the uterus removed because they didn't want kids (which a simple tube-tie does the same trick and can be easily reversed) - cancer is a very legitimate reason and is the reason both my mother and aunt had their uterus removed.

  • well..thats tha reason I want it done..I mean..I dnt want another kid..sooo I don't need a menstrual cycle...soooo!! I thought about gettin my tubes tied..but I would still have a period..and I dn't want that..

  • In MY opinion neither are very good reasons for wanting a hysterectomy. She needs to look into other forms of birth control. She may not want kids NOW but, what about later on?

If she has insurance, I don't think it will be covered. Something like this will only be paid for if it's medically necessary.

  • r u serious? and ur a boy? LMAO dont boys watch porn? shouldnt they no that!

  • YAY!!! now I know what a vagina looks like.

  • Is sex for pleasure still possible after a hysterectomy? Do periods still happen?

  • Yes. No.

  • nope, the source of the period is gone, so it will eliminate the menstral cycle, no more PMS hahaha

  • to the first question, yes. the clitoral structures and the g-spot are both well outside the uterus, so a woman can still achieve orgasm.

  • Hi, yes sex is better than before as not more pain from fibroid.x

  • that is so sad. we women go through so much.

  • i kno sooo unfair.......

  • omfg close my u know what up with stiches then removed them oh hell nah

  • very informative educational video.

    Great job.Keep it up

    Thanks for sharing!!!!

  • IDK Y I watch these...they're like crack
