Perfect! I have a feeling that this is one of those synthesizers that will actually keep me happily occupied for more than a few days before I start feeling empty without something new ;)
Thanks again Roger/BigCityMusic for being such an invaluable resource!
Wow. I had no idea that the XS could sound like this. Almost all videos show it as a bass machine--and it seems very capable of that. But this, this is a complete change of pace and I'm impressed. I might have to purchase one. Worth the price?
Definitely worth the price. I'm finding it tough to make this thing sound bad. I did just realize that I had the accent EG on for the whole first half of this video, ha.
Sounds awesome.... I'd say after the modular routing (and reverb?) it's a case of randomly turning knobs. Mine comes in the morning. Can't wait.

Brilliantly terrifying! I can't even work out what is going on here - if you can remember how the patch is constructed then I'd love to know.. :]

Could you explain the patch? How do you get it to self-trigger?

radambe 3 years ago
and with the new seq orb?
nicolausala 3 years ago
Doesn't matter what you sequence it with, it's gonna be monophonic. One voice.

sorry but the 16 midi channels would be that this thing is 16 part multi timbral? or wath?
sorry for the question!!!
nicolausala 3 years ago
You can choose one of the 16 channels where you receive the notes.
You can't use them the same time.
The XS is not multitimbral

What's the patch on the Lexicon doing?? I know the XS sounds great, but it's hard to know how much of the work is being done by the fx here.

Awsome patch, sounds like a daemon from the 9th dimension!

The kick drum sounds that come out of this thing are even more evil ;)

I had this playing when Janet walked into the room. She thought we were being invaded.... seriously. ;-)

this thing is ridiculous.....it just sounds fantastic and is unbelievably flexible for being such a small, lightweight synth
