I saw the "!" sign on the map next to the ride so i was expecting some scary witch and trees but damn this goes way past that.

When you are waiting in line you see a nice forest, hear cheerfull music, when you in the little car and you past the doors it is terror en horror =p

With the exception of Snow White and the others waving at the end, this version is pretty much the same as Disneyland's.

@MegaMrDaan Ergens in juli. We zaten in hotel Santa Fé. Dat is een hotel van Disney zelf, en dan mag je al 2 uur voor officiële openingstijd (08:00 i.p.v. 10:00 uur) in sommige delen van het park (Fantasyland en Discoveryland).

Haha.... when I was 5 I used to cry like mad on the tree part where they sort of lean over you.... oh, and the bit where the boxy' thing full of jewels just goes *CCCRRSSHH!!!*

I thought the same thing! And I think they should have spent more time with Ursula and her living quarters.

I will be there in December to check it out in person, but the videos out there did a nice job in capturing the essence.

Disneyland dark rides are the best!!!!

They just opened up Little Mermaid in California Adventure Park. You should check it out on youtube.

I've been thinking about it (i'm Dutch), and i think she says "Pommes! Juteux pommes!". Which means "Apples! Juicy apples!". But i'm not sure, tough. What do you think?

@davey1986 Haha you are probably right that sounds a lot more appropriate! There's still a part of me that likes to think she says 'shiney bum' though! It probably makes this ride the funniest in the park along with its super fast speed this thing goes faster than space mountain! :)

it looks the exact same as Disneyland's version but with better detail and animation, like the witch/queen looks more cleand up and detaild

Which is logical, of course. Disneyland's version is way older.

Paris's version is newer, and thus more modern techniques were used to build it.

@davey1986 yea definitely. im pretty sure in the future it will end up looking more crisp like this becuz of refurbishments. imagineers said they cant hav dland turn into a museum of antique rides. theyve qlready updated the queens mirror room and raining scene with new lighting effects
