that's the thing about slenderman, he usually doesn't just kill you and get it over with.

He makes you suffer for as long as he can till you slowly lose your sanity and death comes by some other means. He sort of like a curse that follows you until you die.

Sometimes he may kill other people around you just to make it worse, as well as abducting children, but he mostly torments his victims and lets insanity end them.

I think these "totheark" people are working for Slendy. And they are working for him because he's killed them and taken their souls, then forced them to solidify, basically, and work for him. They are like his little puppets. The only problem is that Slendy cannot make most of them act like the "originals" so at first they have wacked-out personalities. This is only a theory. But it would mean that there are more people who are "Masky" than I originally thought. And Jessica is one of them.
