My 7th Grade orchestra sucks at playing this except for the handful that actually gets to school an hour early to practice with the 8th graders....I like przcticing the with the 8th graders on this song...:)

Not awful but not great. You weren't together at parts and out of tune at others. When I was in middle school, my teacher would have given up if we played like this (Which she did one time). I'd say if a little more practice was put in it would be much better.

that was okay. But if we played like that at a concert or even a week before the concert, our director would probably walk off stage. There was this part where you weren't together. But the rest was good. You need to add more energy when you play and some of your postures are horrid. The concert master was good though.

it sounded like the came in a little late at :30 and it didnt sound together 2:30-2:50... but good for MS... when i was in MS i only had at most 8 ppl in my orchestra

Woah, you're violins are like REALLY loud, and there are some times where it is the cello part and you can rarely hear it, so work on that.

Also, I have noticed that your director really challenges you guys. That can be a good thing or a bad thing but in this case it was good.

I think you did a nice job, although the person with the cam was making my dizzy, people didn't look so great with posture. My 6th strings grade is working on this song for fun we also did Harry Potters Theme. It was nice just a few things to work on though :]

my class is playing this now(we're in the 8th grade)and i have to say,Park Forest MS orchestra needs work.there is one really complex part in the violin 2 music and you couldn't even hear.also they need to work on dynamics.

other conductors like the set up the orchestra differently according to the pieces.

here, they wanted to bring out the violins.

so the first violins where on the left,

and the second violins were sitting where the chellos usually sit. lol.

i know cause my orchestra teacher did the same thing after we went to go watch the national symphony rehearse.

we just sight read it today.I would agree with ilyKelseyBabee about the posture, my teacher is very strict about it too. btw why are the cello's in the middle?! that doesn't make any sense.

this is really good! but sadly i have to say that some people i saw in the video have really bad posture.

this is myy 4th or 5th year playing the violin myself..&& myy orchestra teacher has always been on our back on having good posture..
