There is a major problem in that the amount of funding is inversely proportional to the mental health of the 'mentally ill'. The more money thrown at these inefficient, ineffective mental health strategies, the 'higher' the 'stats' get that the situation is getting out of control.
It's clear after all these years, that false diagnosis adds to confusion and patients do not get better, thereby requiring more 'treatment' which doesnt lead to cure. There is no cure for 'made up' diseases, unproven.
There just needs to be a better way for this to work.
I believe it is also worth noting that if there are such a great amount of issues genetic and mental health related today as oppose to 40yrs ago. Shouldn't we consider, trying to find where the problem may source from. In my opinion they should be trying to fix these issues not "treat" them.
They should be looking into long term issues of artificial additives or the effects processing our food will have.
I dont think that guy should spend a week in a police cell to be evaluated as there is no room at the hospital.(Or put in a restraining chair overnight as emergency ward prevention procedure.)Nor seeing a psychiatrist who seen too many patients to give the same answer- "whatever your case- here's a much higher dose of whatevers available just to be safe! All of this comes from low budgets- not good enough if you see mental health like normal medical cases.eg-shift emergency beds to prisons!
Good topic it frequently goes unnoticed, although the 1in4 disorder thing is a bit over the top, everyone has problems but legitimate mental disorders need help.
I noticed that your film is shot in both 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios. You need to make sure that you film your entire film in the one aspect ratio and if youtube squashes your vid to 4:3... In your tags put " yt:stretch=16:9 " That will stretch the vid to 16:9... That is all... Good work by the way :)

Unfortunately help is a rare thing amongst the mental health system, and the more money we throw at it the more medicated our populace becomes.
