Great videio. I travelled this route the weekend before you west-to-east. Ignored the road closed signs based on a call to the USFS appropriate regioanl offices. Went past smoking trees in the fog. Saw only a couple of hunters. Overnighted at Noseem camp. Part of a 2 day, 2 night trip starting with east-to-west on the Maguder then up to the Lolo Motorway. I had zero vis with drizzle and clouds. Need to go back again especially after watching your video.
Dave, Nice video. You should try the Mcgruder Corridor and Nez Pierce Trail which are south of the Lolo Motorway. I wanted to do them this summer, but they were still snowed in when I attempted to do them.
Thanks for the comment, it sounds like I got through at a good time, no fog or smoke. I am sure I will be back to also do the Maguder.
