Back home I pulled lots of duty on the dispatch board for local Fire and Rescue. But that was a small town. I can't imagine being a 911 operator with an incident like this. Especially since everyone has a cellphone.

Today's 911 systems vary by community. In some areas an overload may be directed to a nieghboring community, while other areas you may just get a busy signal.
