Every citizen of Red Sox Nation knows that the New York Yankees are the Evil Empire and The Sox are The Rebellion.
"Tessie" by The Dropkick Murphys, as any Sox fan knows, became the victory anthem of The Red Sox World Series triumph in 2004. I thought, wouldn't it be nice to see The Rebellion celebrate the shattered chains of Imperial tyranny in the way of their long-oppressed underdog bretheren, the citizens of Red Sox Nation. Methinks only Sox fans would get it.
