  • the form is good.. some principles use the left hand as the mirror, the spirit of the blade so that it should be closer to the striking hand during the block. if given the chance, the left hand automatically goes for the disarm while the strike continues, skipping the block but still respecting the stick. the block in 0:10 is like from karate. in classical arnis, the payong synchronizes with the right foot forward, with the left hand checking in anticipation for the counter, or for a disarm
