i appreciate this video... i used to live in alameda, lived in the condos down by the bird sanctuary (STINKY!) I remember in the 80s when that beach would be filled with people laid out on towels and families swimming!

I currently live in Alameda and it is a auesome city. I live right next to sure line. I am 24 now and I went to Alameda high and I always remember the fun times in high school with my friends at the beach. One thing I love is that one street that does the Chrismas display and has the Santa, that pretty auesome.

omg you can't even begin to understand how I appreciate this video! I used to live in Alameda back in 1998 and this has brought back so many memories! Is it me or did all the shrubs on the shoreline like disappear? i remember there being more.. *sigh... i miss alameda!! I used to live at the shoreline apts. any people here to go lum elementary?

Thanks for the ride. We used to ride our bikes along the beach and windsurf all the time. We lived there for seven years. It only smelled at low tide. That's nature. Love it!!
