To all those worried about 'the poor car' or commenting on it's 'value'... The car was written off by the insurance company because of the damage to the LH side (hit by another driver) and was sent to the crusher the day after this was filmed. We simply gave the old piece of crap a fitting send off.
@Tahloube i'm sure you have no doubt about any kind of a car's body. If even one of the pillars is damaged the car is ready for the crusher. Sure, it's a fine and nice german car, but even those are going to die one day.
I have deep admiration for 126 although they can dig a deep hole in the pocket. We have a 1990 500SEL and, despite aging problems, I can never imagine parting ways with it.

these older Benzes are the shit.. i have a '84 Turbo Diesel.. beast! and it still runs at 298K miles.. the newer ones are wack eversince they started assembling them in Mexico.. recently worked on a '05 S-class only 32K miles and already changing axles, suspension, brake calipers and all taht.. wack!
does Mecedes in video doing burn-out have BOTH wheels smoking at same time using something like German version of the Posi-traction rear end,Or is it it using a Limited Slip Clutch Differential,Where once 1 wheel gets traction-The other wheel dis-engages? I used to find these Mercedes dirt cheap in east coast because they get rusted out-ANY foreign car brought to East Coast mainLand better have a ->GARAGE TO PUT IT IN<-Salt States using salt on public roads will EAT-UP CAR BODY*
