Gary you were my first dance teacher in the Trevose studio. your sister filled in while you went to do Pippin and was a lead dancer for Shirley Mcclain. Ill never forget you.You jumped so high and it was blessing to dance JAzz with you as a young girl! Thank you and many blessings. DeeDee Coppens XO
Wow! How fun to see you. Had a ball working with you on "Tintypes" with Buffalo Theatre (COD). You turned Suzanne into Stuart for me. Remember "Bill Bailey" in drag?! Oh my! Thanks for the memories.
How wonderful! You were one of my favorite dance teachers (COD)-- and still inspire me to this day as a Mom of 2 boys...who LOVE to dance. Thank you for teaching me more than dance...but the love of it. Beverly
I was honored to sit and hear you speak today at my daughter's dance studio before you began working with the girls and I had chills. I recognized you as soon as I walked through the door and I have always been a huge fan and now my daughter gets the chance to experience you and your works. She is 11 and already has her life planned out all the way through college and attending Julliard. She lives and breathes performing. I hope she realizes what a huge honor this workshop with you is.
I would love to take a class with mr. Flannery! (I loved Gary in ATJ!) too bad I'm far away! lol. I love Bob Fosse's style and it would be a pleasure and a dream come true to be teached by one of his dancers!
Hope I can talk to Gary or see him dance someday! that would be nice! ^^
Hi Gary, I took classes from you way back in the late 70's at your studio in Langhorne. They were the best classes of my life. You showed me that with perserverance and goals that anything can be achieved. I miss sweating for three hours straight during ballet and jazz classes. You were and still are the best instructors and dancer ever. I keep you DVD All That Jazz still on my shelf. Kathleen
I took classes from Gary in the early 70's at the same studio. I will always remember his style and talent. Gary, Remember Charlene and Barbara? When you first opened the studio.
What a beautiful video! I briefly danced with Gary Flannery back around '92 in one of his dance programs and in Bob Fosse's Chicago with the Buffolo Theater Ensemble. If Gary is able to get this message, I REALLY miss your dance classes. My time spent with you was truly enjoyed!
Jenny---yes it's me only 6 months later--hope things are well for you and you are STILL dancing! I am in better shape now than in this video--but I am OUT of work//Better times ahead I hope//Stay well, Regards, Gary
Thanks so much for creating and posting this. I was a student of Gary's many years ago, and it was wonderful to stumble across your montage. Brought back many happy memories. Gary is a wonderfully inspiring teacher. Great to see that he is still sharing his gifts.

That's so great. I used to take your class in Langhorne, PA. Happy memories of choreography to Billie Jean, master classes with Fred Benjamin, performance at Rose Tree Park, etc. Hope that Florida is treating you well, and glad to see your "magic" on YouTube!
