1. what does the homebrew channel do, does it give you free wii points. my cosin has it and he said yes it does give you wii points in a certain way.

2. if it does give you wii points OR allows you to download games from the wii shop channel, will you be able to send a gift to your friend.

3, if you are able to send gifts, will it send something with the gift, like the hombrew channel so your friend may download it

@cobravince you need to get neo gamma to play back ups. usb loader will burn games onto a usb storage device. either way, you have the slight chance of you wii getting bricked.

I'm currently on 3.2 firmware and it's a nightmare to try to update to 4.2 and keep The Homebrew Channel.

Could I simply remove THC, update to 4.2 legit through Nintendo, then use your video to get THC back?

(you dont need a folder to put this in) you can get the private folder from banner bomb (link in descrp) and when you have downloaded hackmii installer, copy the folder in the rar to the sd card. open up that folder and copy a file called boot.elf and paste it on to the sd card (where the hackmii installer is) and thats it
