Also, is it just me or those 'stalfos'/bonehead things...Don't even want to think of it (what ARE they shooting at Link?? paying attention to the animation) Just, Creepy.
These games were released on the Philips/Magnavox CD-i and not on PC. Although you can emulate the CD-i on a PC, it's not perfect yet. These are captured straight from a CD-i 210 model.
i belive a lot of people would love to see the playtru of those 3 games as they are very popular among youtube hence youtube poops- hotel mario too i suppose you should- i mean i would... i think but i dont really want to since id have to get fraps and also the emulators and im not as funny as you are
Thanks, I've had several requests now for the other games so I'll look into doing them some time soon.
There is only 1 decent emulator but that one is pretty crappy too and the author wants you to pay for it. It won't play a lot of games, and this game doesn't play with sound I think, except for the cut scenes. Apart from that, any game that would require the DVC expansion will not work all together on the emu.
so you use the real thing huh- nice but yeah i downloaded the game faces of evil as im a fan of youtube poops- too bad:( i downloaded thjat emu and it asked me to pay... chyeah right... like im going to pay wen im beeing cheap enough to not buy the real thing- how much u think a real cd-i console and games of zelda/hotel mario costS?
I think there is also a cracked version of the emu floating around somewhere, but I'm not to sure and don't know where to get it.
A real CD-i is really cheap to get. Depending on where you live you can get a CD-i player in fine working order from $5 to about $30 bucks. The Zelda games can be a bit expensive though, around $40-50. Hotel Mario is usually a bit cheaper. Zelda's Adventure is over $100 most of the time.
Note that the CD-i has no copy protection, so a burned ISO works too ;)
Ebay would probbably be your best bet in the US. To narrow your search don't use Philips in your search but rather Magnavox since the Philips models were distributed under that brand name in the US.
If there's enough interest then sure I could do that. Should be fun since I know this game a lot better then Wand of Gamelon. Since I never owned that when it first came out.
I'm sure there's enough interest, You doubled your subscribers with The faces of evil, people probably want to see a Playtrough/Let's Play of Wand of gamelon to. :)

HOLY SHIT when Glutko ate that guy that was actually really scary! But is voice kinda ruins it, and the way he acts afterward is just ridiculous.

I don't get it, in the cutscenes Glutko is a giant but in the boos battle he only slightly bigger than Link?
DrGnockerz 3 years ago 5
Now that you mention it... another weird thing indeed.
HalfBlindGamer 3 years ago
I mean Glutko was reaching out to Link in one cutscene too, so Link isn't a giant either.
DrGnockerz 2 years ago
What do you expect, based on the character design/cutscenes so far?

Kangarooboy11 3 years ago
Yup, those rhino things. They are suposed to resemble the bosses from The Legend of Zelda that you need to feed bombs.

I capture footage off of an actual CD-i player.

Do you know where they might sell CDis? Or do you have to search Ebay or something?
