I don't think that Wolf was a waste of a character, if anything Falco would be then because he's closer to Fox; Wolf mixed it up, at the very least, with moves. In my opinion characters like ROB are wastes, he's not an icon, he's just a side character throughout Nintendo's games, even Pokemon trainer was questionable...

...Saki though, would be admittedly very sick, he'd be a great addition to the Smash canon.
