  • Ok well in my opinion these animals look really happy, most haven't seen the outside world and the others don't care, all they care about is there kids and I think they're happy that they can see there kids NOT DIE. If u really wanna do something for the killer whales y don't u. Get off the comp and go to the pool and be their play thing k

  • i swear to god, all anti-captivity folks do is scour youtube all day for videos like this so that they can't start up the same old back and forth dialogue. They love the smell of their own farts. If the whales could talk and told them "Actually I LOVE MY LIFE, please don't release me to a world where I have no survival training"..the anti-captivity nut would say "No, sorry...you belong out there...even if that means sufferring and death"...

  • @EvilInAll There is always a sense of entitlement with the Sea World Cultists.

  • @EvilInAll Captivity severely compromises their quality of life to

an unacceptable degree, through confinement in minuscule tanks. Such confinement is

often characterised by forced associations, sensory deprivation and adverse intrusion by

visitors. Marine parks can no longer justify their captivity under the false premise of

education, conservation and research. Today's society is sophisticated enough to

recognise these facilities as aquatic circuses. Jerye Mooney-WDCS

  • 5:20 <- skip the talking and the pictures :)

  • @EvilInAll The year of 2010 is hardly unprecedented for captive Orca deaths in the Marine Parks, unbelievably 21 times, this years four deaths have occurred, equal to or been doubled, three times the figure was tripled! This year makes it 22 times. The display of Orca in the Parks has been a blood bath since day one, it's time to stop the madness... stop the breeding of captive Orca, put the Orca on the IWC protected species list to prevent future captures, and revert back to the pre-1994 MMPA.

  • @metridium ONE Sea world hasn't captured any since the very beginning(nor other us parks) TWO if you want them to survive in the wild and they die out sea world is the only company with the money, the knowledge, and the technology to do so. your basically telling killer whales to die out....your a smart one learn your facts right before you start blabbering on you tube :)

  • @josh3096 Marine parks have shown no more interest in conserving marine mammals' natural habitats than they have in educating audiences. In fact,

the industry has actively lobbied to keep small cetaceans, such as orcas and dolphins, outside the jurisdiction of the International Whaling

Commission (even though this would help protect these animals in the wild) because they don't want to risk not being able to capture

additional animals in the future. -WAF

  • @metridium YOU DONT UNDERSTAND they havent got any thing from the wild is a long time seaworld is most likeley there last chance to live

  • @josh3096

On August 1, 1991, a resolution was submitted by petition at the American Veterinary

Medical Association (AVMA) annual meeting. Signed by 163 AVMA members,

‘Resolution 13' opposed the further capture of free-living cetaceans. The resolution

received a presentation by the petitioner and an opposing argument was presented by

a contract veterinarian from Sea World. No further discussion occurred and resolution

13 was defeated (Thatcher, 1992). -Jerye Mooney 1998

  • @josh3096 They haven't gotten anything from the wild themselves because they aren't allowed to. Their capture lisence was revoked for cruel methods of capture. But just because they don't capture the animals themselves doesn't mean that they don't buy or import other captured animals. Or take animals from strandings.

  • @metridium so, like 70,000 people die every day!!!!!!!!!!! so its just NATURE!! That stuff happens, so get OVER IT!

  • GREAT VIDEO BTW!
