So, you could get 3+ cop cars involved for a chase, manage to wrangle him with all the cop cars like dogs and cattle, manage to climb out and on to the hood of the car... yet, you couldn't figure out how to lay down a nail strip and pop his tires? ... INSANE.

that was a straight execution on the cops part, there was no reason to fire off 6 rounds into the guy, 2 would have been enough to stop him and than it wouldnt be called excessive force

This was horrendous police work. I saw the complete video last year and there are so many tactical errors committed by these officers its incredible. I would be seriously worried about going to prison with the videos that I have seen. These officers were poorly trained and poorly supervised!

15 years old is a minor, a 15 yr teen cant even get a permit nor can drive without a guardian/parent, and in driving manuals in order to obtain a driving permit they state what you must do when a "federal officer" orders you to the side of the road which this person did not do and put the officer in danger by trying to drive away with the officer on the hood of his car, the car becomes a deadly weapon which the officer took the proper actions.

First of all, I don't know who gets jailed for smoking weed, it's a fine and confiscation of the product. If you're a producer you might get a larger fine and maybe a few days in the police station but not in the state jail (the worst). But I do see the point that some drugs should be legalized to increase the economy since weed is as dangerous as alcohol and cigs so since those 2 are allowed why shouldn't the other.

and i can hear the officer clearly giving the order "don't move" multiple time before firing multiple shots into the vehicles windshield...... none of this would of happened if the man in the vehicle complied with the officers from the start but the suspect elevated the situation to where the officer had to use enough force to bring the suspect to a stop.....

@pooledvn They were ordering the innocent passenger, 28 y/o Daryl Black, not to move. He had asked the his neighbor, 37 y/o CHARLES WAYNE BENNETT for a ride to Walgreens to buy baby formula for his kid. BENNETT was a drug dealer driving a stolen Monte Carlo. Police had fired on this car 3 times before this final shooting. BENNETT rammed 3 cruisers and tried to run over two other cops. Black knew nothing abt BENNETT and was considered kidnapped and not charged. BENNETT was DOA.

15 years old is a minor, a 15 yr teen cant even get a permit nor can drive without a guardian/parent, and in driving manuals in order to obtain a driving permit they state what you must do when a "federal officer" orders you to the side of the road which this person did not do and put the officer in danger by trying to drive away with the officer on the hood of his car, the car becomes a deadly weapon which the officer took the proper actions.

Uh...I see a lot of idiots who did not pay attention to the video. The guy in the car did not want to STOP the car and get out of it. So in other words, people are thinking it would be okay if the guy ran the cop over because they "don't like cops" and stereotype all of them as being crooked.
If someone tried to run you over (clearly they had no intent to stop - it's all over the video, so stop acting like little freaking kids)...you'd shoot them. End of story.

He did what was neccessary to maintain the safety of others and himself. Thats his job. You think it would still happen if he pulled over his car and cooperated? He'd still be alive. plus you can hear them say be careful, so its quite possible this man was armed and known to be dangerous. They also fired shots at his car before the other officer jumped on the hood. Clearly this guy had a chance to give up, but instead he decided to put lives in danger, and thats what happens when try to run over a cop.

There was no other option once he was on the car if he didint shoot the guy would have sped away with the cop on it.

First of all, I don't know who gets jailed for smoking weed, it's a fine and confiscation of the product. If you're a producer you might get a larger fine and maybe a few days in the police station but not in the state jail (the worst). But I do see the point that some drugs should be legalized to increase the economy since weed is as dangerous as alcohol and cigs so since those 2 are allowed why shouldn't the other.

First of all you dont have any idea the story behind this incident. He could of been an armed robber, killed someone we dont know. The fact is he was putting others lives in dangers.Most say we could shoot someone, but until you have them in your sights and know youre about to take a son, father, friend, brother away from someone, its hard to do. Kill one save a hundred those guys are going home tonight to be with their familes and so will everyone because this chase was brought to an end.
