  • @SlipKnotMaggot771 It uses black powder and is typically used with many small projectiles as apposed to a single large one. Both of which leads to less recoil than modern shotguns using slugs which doesn't knock one's shoulder out of place from what I understand. Anyone with experience with both black powder and smokeless powder firearms correct me if I'm wrong.

  • @SilverGalford What did you think?

  • i love this shit.

  • OK, I don't know where the "it's a hip-shooter" comes into play, but no - this weapon is a repro of a 1740s "coach gun". It was loaded with a full charge (i.e. 100 grains of powder, .72cal roundball, and 3 00 buckshot). HOWEVER, the fella shooting it is about 6'7" and weighs every bit of 275lbs.

  • wow, what was the flippin calibure??

  • GEROFF MY RAWN! >:{

  • i want one for hunting they are sweet im jelous. i heard the recoil on them things is just nasty, you should get a shock absorber.:0 nice vid

  • What was the load used?

  • ah the blunderbuss one of the first shotguns in the world

  • No matter how ancient blunderbusses can be, they can still rip a hole thru anyone. lol

  • Why would you hold it at the hip!? This guy has no trouble shooting from the shoulder, so why not shoot it from the shoulder? Wouldn't it be more accurate that way?

  • @whowantsabighug a blunderbuss is kinda a shotgun in some way so yea

  • But isn't that thing a hip shooter? Why is he shooting from the shoulder?

  • ether way

  • only a hip shooter because kick and extremly low accuracy more than 20 yards. but either way is just as effective shoulder or hip

  • Probably did not load it with full shot or black powder, these things kick like nobody's business when they are fully loaded, like a modern 10 gauge

  • i want one :D they are cool

  • THIS!.. IS!... MY... BOOM STICK!!!

  • lol he shot it wrong.... its supposed to be held at about the hip and pointed upward at a little less than a 45 degree angle..... that looks like a mod with the shoulder stock but its still not gonna be so inefficient

  • wouldn't like to be hit by that

  • Its davey crockett!!!

  • I noticed it was fired from the left, I guess the nasty flare-back everyone is talking about is just an exageration.

  • Only someone who doesn't know what they're doing would ever fire a blunderbuss from the shoulder. . . it's a hip-shooter. . . ugh.

  • If it's a hip shooter, why does it have a shoulder stock? Just Saying :V

  • modded but still doesnt work as well

  • IT's not modded, well, I don't know about that one in particular, but yes, blunderbuss typically have a shoulder stock from what I've seen.

  • @pooton688

Not modded, they made blunderbuss handguns as well. Very similar comparison to a full stock shotgun and a sawed off buttless shotgun today.

  • @PyrateTV why is it so bad to shoulder fire a blunderbuss?

  • wow cool banger

  • Sexy kilt
