I was very small when my mother played Zelda. She was in the Forest Temple and in the room with the wallmasters. Little did we know that the windy sound meant that you should get the hell out of the way. I remember it very well...

Me: "You should watch out for those hands!"

Mom: "Ahhh, our Link isn't gonna get caught.

1 sec later: *Link gets caught by a wallmaster and placed back to the start of the temple*

when i was 5 or 6 in the winter of 98 i got OoT for Christmas. i played the forest temple for the first time. Nervous saying like "it's okay matt, it's not that bad". i get into the wallmaster room and i hear windblowing than i get grabbed and brought to the ceiling. i shut off my console and took a week hiatus. i would then with the bow go directly to Fire and then Water temple and beat both without beating Forest (i only went back because Forest lets u go kid after for doing shadow)

Incidentally, I found the Forest Temple far scarier than the Shadow Temple, simply because despite the fact that you keep expecting something to jump out at you, or to find something disturbing, you instead find nothing.
