580 GTX...3 GB
16 Gigs of DDR 3 ram
Intel Core i7 2600K
The only difference is the motherboard which won't arrive in the mail until tomorrow. All I've managed to do so far was get the power supply put in and run some cables. I can't wait to fire it up-----but this is my first build so I'm braced for something bad to happen...lol
My "rig" kinda sucks because it's incomplete. My missing parts are: HDD, Graphics card, PSU (short for Power supply. In case some people are dumb as fuck. , Case ( I am using my old Pentium ATX case. LoL), RAM. ( I am at 8GB and i am going to upgrade it. ^^ My specs are: i5 2400 @ 3.10GHz 8GB Kingston 1600 RAM MSi Z68MA-G45 17" TFT Monitor. I forgot what it was called. XD Will buy soon: ATI Radeon HD 6870/EVGA GTX 550 Ti/EVGA GTX 560 Ti 23" HP Monitor Corsair 750W 80+ GOLD (i forgot.) (Part 2)

should have gone with the unlocked CPU. Your multiplying to 3.7 and I am multiplying to 4.5 easily with almost zero changes on mine. Its a big difference dude. Its actually called a "bottleneck". But anyways I cant wait to get the snow case as well. It looks amazing.
Nice job on you build :) What you don't hear much about is that the white colored surface is achieved via a scratch resistant plastic injection coating process. I like it! @BattlefieldNerd How will you overclock a CPU without the K model? You do know the K model has the multiplier unlocked which is needed for the OC'ing don't you?
Great setup. I just bought my new computer today from Newegg. I went with the black Level 10 GT. I can't justify the price increase for the white and black even though it looks great. I'm going with a red and black look with the AMD 7970 and the EVGA 141-GT-E770-A1 motherboard. As for the processor, I went with the I7 960.
that is one of the best computer build you can create and it will last you nearly a decade without upgrading at all, this isnt useless, this is a long term investment, and might i add, a brilliant one!
My laptop crashed so i'm running a 1gb ram netbook.. i'm sure you don't want to know the rest cause i'm having trouble watching a video on this stupid thing
