Wow I love your cover! You're voice sounds very pure. I love it! You sound a little like Leona Lewis ( complimentttt!) it's so much better then my version of someone like you.
I think (you asked for feedback) the reasons that you don't have literally a thousand times more subscribers--
(6a) keeping your focus and intensity, all your faculties, each second of each song. As Simon Cowell might say, "No excuses. Deliver your best, every instant. As if you were playing Caesar's Palace trying to captivate people who paid $300 per seat."
(6b) sound levels, camera angles, practicing more before recording, etc.
Moreso in your recent videos, you've got impressive control. Most outstanding (for me) is when you blithely "twist" a syllable smoothly across several notes (0:59, 1:55, 2:43, 3:26, 4:23). The YouTube Queen of Melisma is my friend "JulieCorrigan2." (Tell her Ray sent you.) I think (you asked for feedback) if you had something to work on from earlier videos, it would be to smooth out the quick excursions going up to the ultra-high notes.
Especially in "Someone Like You," you build up progressively, from being ~conversationally calm (~0:55-1:00) to being stunningly expressive in later choruses (4:05+ and 4:35+). Your hand raising up spontaneously is the dead giveaway--passion second to none I've ever heard--especially amazing since you barely knew the song.
.
Power followed by incredibly delicate notes (5:02, 5:10).
In case you've never been told, you've got an incredibly 'mature' voice, by which I mean, completely developed (especially in the lower register), rich, complex, expressive, commanding (when needed), delicate (when needed). Translation: you were born with an instrument that simply sounds beautiful.
.
Playing guitar & piano is impressive, too, of course!
@BeauteQueenThitima Thank you! She's great! I didn't know her much before YouTube, but a lot of people requested her songs, so I've done 2 (her cover of snow patrol's Run and Bleeding Love, if you want to check em out).
Wow, great to hear you got some original/better recordings. I would love to hear them, possibly do a collaboration on one of your tracks. Sorry i've been posting with both of my accounts.
@DoRayMeFa Thanks for the kind words/comment! I want to give a huge internet hug to you AnnSpade for the support!
I'm setting up a site right now to include some original songs/higher quality recordings of the cover songs I've got up here, but right now YouTube is the only site I have music on. I'll definitely post the link once I'm finished with it though.
I really appreciate your subscribing too...and if I ever surpass 100 subscribers, I'll be *ecstatic!* :)

I've seen a lot of YouTube listeners praise a singer to other listeners.
But they should be telling THE SINGER!
I hope that my words, and the rest of Ann's army, are getting through to you.
I just wish you could see and hear yourself as others do.
You can definitely stop wondering if you're reaching people.

Your song choices show intelligence, substance and class. You might like to check out my friend, übersongwriter "ReinaDelCid" (on YouTube).

If you pursue music further, you deserve the best of what an often-dirty music business has to offer.
Times like this, I wish I was a guzillionaire music producer.
I hope SO MUCH that you find your perfect niche. Please don't go to law school though.:)

Your personality is "The Next AnnSpade"™--
modest, down-to-earth, grateful, articulate, witty, likeable, etc.--the best things to draw people in after they quiver at the power of your voice.
A blend of the non-cookie-cutter beautiful girl-next-door w/unique smile, with shades of an exotic ~Leona-Lewis-look.
(Don't let it go to your head, plz.)

Michelle, I discover only one or two new musicians per year who truly captivate me.
After watching several of your videos, especially this one and Mad World, I announce... you are The Discovery for 2011.
Sometimes, your performance is literally jaw-dropping, heart-stopping. I can't even fully describe why. But I'll try.

Thanks to AnnSpade for tweeting about your music!
What's most amazing is that you created this only hours after hearing the song for the first time.
Your recent vids show the power, esp. in your lower register.
You're gifted with (or worked to develop?) a powerful and expressive voice, and it's unbelievable that you have less than 100 subscribers!
(I think I'm #73. :)
I hope you pursue singing as more than a hobby. Do you have music on other sites?
