Nice track bruh! One question though, if you don't mind, why did you get rid of the XS6? I currently own the old original Motif, but feel the need to upgrade to one of these bad boys. I see that you also have the Fantom. Which do you prefer, as far as sound quality and number of usable presets?

@4iamu I do miss my Motif but the Fantom is like having a sexy girl thats sweet and rich and has no drama!! LOL The XS6 would have served as a great synth but the Fantom just has so much and its a lot easier to use. I might pick up a motif rack when I get my Open Labs to copy all the sounds in the XXL Open Labs.

Hey Bro, when you get the Neko XXL, are you gonna sell the motif and the fantom? I ask b/c the Neko has that program called "Mimik" where it can emulate any keyboard, therefore, you wouldn't need those other two after transferring the sounds into the Neko. I might keep them around to just jam out on. I sold the MOTIF already I don't think I can part with the Fantom though even though I will have the XXL. I actually sold Ryan my Akai XR20 which has more sounds than my MPC 5000 but that's a different story. The G is the best of the FANTOMS by the way.

That's the hardest thing for me also, Im not an engineer but it seems that you have to learn to be an engineer also to perfect your music. Im learning pro tools and find it super complicated because Im new to it. Im going to take a pro tools course and sees what happens after that.

To answer your questions you do not have to use Software with the Motif.

1.)Press Song

2.)Use the Wheel to scroll to a empty song bank

3.)Hit the Category Button Choose your sounds per track.

4.)Record Your Music that you want to sequence.

5.)Press F3 then the Loop Button (YOU MUST MASTER THIS ON THE MOTIF XS6)
