  • en die mevrouw is vel de dik voor hem

  • hij is egt veel te smal dat is zo zielig je ziet zijn ribben en dat zadel veel te groot

  • omg! this horse will never want to be ridden again if this is its first time...

  • You shouldn't blame the horse for being a "young, unpredictable horse" she was irritated greatly by the weight of the mount, and you don't know how to train her.

  • I wonder how many people can't read... The description says it's his/her DAD was riding...

  • dude your a dumb ass she is way too young to be 3 i have a 1 year 9 month odl filly thats bigger than that

  • @GobbleGrunt14 you know horses come in more than just one size? an example, seen as you dont seem to understand simple logic; My PONY is 12.3hh and is 19 years old. My friends IRISH SPORTS HORSE was 12.3hh when he was five months old. he is now 16.3hh and 2 years old. I cant beleive you are actually so ignorant.

  • LOL. Douche. Atleast *somewhat* hold the reins a little bit hopping on.

  • she got mad because he got her off balance

  • Wow, thanks for a great lesson in how not to break in a horse. I hope you don't get your hands on other horses. Did you say the mare was abused BEFORE you got hold of her?? Idiots both of you.

  • yeah that dude was way to big for her

  • Havent you guys noticed this was uploaded back in 2009?! i'm sure the horse is alot better trained by now and probably is being ridden. Also, not every 3yr old horse is going to react the same. Even though the dad was pretty big, the horse did what most 3 year olds do when first being mounted..

  • I think your dad was fine, i think his plan was to lay across her back to get her used to his weight before sitting up the only thing is your dad is too big and heavy for the horse but i don't think all the crap on here is helping he seems to know what he is doing but he definately needs a bigger more substantially built horse

  • were i live the first day we would have put a saddle on her and jumped on and Bucked her out

  • -your dads an idiot

-he is way too heavy for that pony

-i'm suprised the pony could take the strain

  • what breed of dog is that ?

  • @tonyteel napolitan mastiff I thnk

  • she just clearly wasnt ready to even be lunged like that her head was up min the air and stressed and the dam saddle is tooooo big!

  • yalls comments about the fat ass tickled me after i seen the guy tryna get on the horse...hahah OMG....haha poor horsey...

  • holly crap poor Moonshine! I hope your dad saw this vid and how ridiculous he looked...^.^''

  • Hopefully, whoever allowed you to foster this horse will see this video and have the sense never to allow you to foster another.

  • Previous abuse? More like current abuse....

  • he's fat!!!! Good horse!! She was only doing the right thing considering your dumb ass would of crushed her!!!

  • This mare is NOT unpredictable - she is totally predictable.

As everyone here is saying...GET A PROFESSIONAL.

ALWAYS use a lightweight, experienced rider for the first backing and ridden sessions. Never pull on the saddle and always hold the reins - not to pull on the horses' mouth but to turn and contain any flight reactions. Poor horse, she's STILL being abused. :(

  • GET SOME PROFFESIONALS, you clearly do not know what you are doing. Get a cat. Mabye you could handle that, you ignorant people.

  • He is going to SQUASH her :(

  • so much wrong, don't know where to start......

  • love the dogs face "um i though the idea was for the human to be on the horse not the ground"

Ya your dad is way to big for such a tiny horse. He pushed her to much to fast.

  • Is it ust me or does that saddle look like it needs a synch? (spelling? cynch? idk XD)

  • Your Dad is too big for that horse. A general rule is that horses should not carry more than 20% of their own weight and that filly is not very big. Your Dad plus the saddle probably top 250 lbs! Also, your Dad should have been wearing a helmet!

  • You shouldnt be breaking a horse...

  • Want a green horse to buck??? Go ahead and pull on the horn and the cantle of the saddle at the same time!!!! Your father does not have a clue how to train a horse. Keep him away at all cost!! Did he have those reins just laying there for looks? Ever heard of lateral flexion? Everything about this video is just so wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That horse is Not unpredictable! it is very predictable if you know what you are doing and understand your horse. which you obviously don't. And your training was horrible (what little was shown) also your daddy had no business getting on a horse that small with his fat ass!

  • Saw that coming from a mile away. Too big for the little thing as well.

  • Why is it so hard for him to mount a little pony

  • omg my friend pulled her horses back by not using a mounting block

  • Before you even tryed getting on did you bother to just do some small jumps holding the saddle this will train a horse to allow a rider to get on him the next step would to be just to put a foot in the styrup and jump up and place your hips on the saddle with all your weight in the styrup but these things take time, and please wear a helmet getting on a unpradictable animal.

  • love how the dogs like WTH was that

  • o ya...thts totally the way to break in an abused horse

  • I guess you havent exercised mounting, dismounting, sit on and get her / him accustom her to bear weight on his back except the saddle?

Maybe you should have done THAT lots of times before mount and intimidate her, perhaps for life, to be ridden. Not saying it's going to be so or what it was, but you that you had to thought of before.

If you DID, then sorry :)

  • Ok, tell your dad to lose weight before getting on this small horse, he needs a draft horse... this is sad... also needs some help because he has no idea of what to do...

  • Please read the description. Also, I've only ever 'broke' one horse before, who was a large warmblood, and you're supposed to get on slowly like that so you don't startle the horse. The reason for leaning over the saddle like that is so the horse feels your weight before you swing your leg up and actually sit on their back

  • the lunging should have been a dead giveaway as to how that first mounting was going to go.

The horse is pulling against the lunge line, there's never any slack at all. that means she's being taught by whomever is lunging her...to pull against pressure, to resist.

so, yeah, of course she was set to buck.

  • If this is this horse's first time being ridden, WHERE IS UR HELMET!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • Maybe grab the reigns and try a Mounting block next time.

  • dude, for one to big for the horse to handle at that age, and flat work?? getting control of its feet???

and second those reins are there for a reason. hold them!!!!! get her head flexed so you have control of her feet. geez.

  • You should keep in mind, it's her first time, and she was probably nervous. Plus, she was abuosed.

  • oh and lighter rider? NO thats not what she needs, i have seen plenty of experts ride little ponies...someones got to do it!

  • i dont think you should be hard on this guy, remember we all make mistakes with horses and need to learn somehow.

im just glad you were honest and didnt make yourself sound like a no it all like some of these ideots around. all the best! oh and yeah i had a giggle lol

  • umm you no the reson why he was standin in the sturups for so long is becuase you have to put wait in the sturups before you aculally get on so yea learn how to train before you say anything :D

  • *saddle

  • No wonder, he sat there for an hour trying to get up on the sadlle ._.

  • haha i love her:) shes got spunk:))

  • omg thats sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo funny the horse was like jus walked and he feel off

  • WOAH, Your way too big for this little pony! He shot off because you were taking too long to get on him and where twisting his back, This is an easy way to damage a horses back. You need to use your reins when getting on your horse so you can easily stop him/her if it tries to run away, Maybe try someone lighter and more experienced for this situation..?

  • The rider should not outweight the horse. Kept hoping that he'd fall face first into that pile of horse poop! He got what he deserved.

  • @JessicaaDavies I totally AGREE

  • I'm sorry but your dad is too heavy for that youngster, he then went on to pull on her back whilst trying to mount hence why he got such a reaction from her (bolting off humping) I'm sure your not trying to be cruel to her but honestly don't start her like this get a lighter rider and give them a leg up so they just lay over her then straight back off again and once she is 100% with that then give them a leg up to sit on her keeping there selfs low whilst someone holds her.

  • that was no one's fault but your own

  • I won't crucify you on this, but I'd say snub that filly to something sturdy, then step into the stirrup about 50 times before even thinking about swinging your leg over. When she accepts your weight, go from there but stay snubbed and for god's sake keep those reigns in your hand. Oh, and before any of that... MORE GROUND WORK!

  • you should have tried a lighter , smaller person for her first time under saddle. You need to start slow so she isnt so fearful when people try to mount

  • Should have gotten on faster... But seems like a good rider.

  • I wouldnt say your dads riding is bad, because we didnt even see him ride! His mounting is BAD And teaching a animal whos already fearful of everything from abuse... I feel for this poor horse.

  • Dude....seriously....you're a goddam FATASS trying to mount a small horse...for the first time under saddle...If I were there I would SLAP YOUR FACE

  • The horse is so cute :)

  • I loke that horse!

  • Next time have your dad hold moons head around toward him so when he tries to mount if she trys to get away all he has to do is hold her in the circle, she can do much in a small circle. then when she is comfortable with him on then keep her walking in a small circle then trot in the circle and so on.

  • Oh my God. there are soo many things wrong with this.

    Get a fucking leader.

    Get a lighter rider.

WEAR A FUCKING HELMET AND BODY PROTECTOR!

Use a mountain block, you're too heavy for the horse to get up from the ground.

or even better: GET A TRAINER.

  • I love how that horse bucks in the air!!! LMFAO!!!

    I find it funny.

Rescue horses are great I got my 16 yo barrel racer...from a rescue

  • ...also kinda sad that you think this horse has been "rescued"...yes you guys have contributed alot to that reaction. take responisbility for your actions and ignorance.

  • why would he get on a horse that has problems and NO TRAINING thinking hes gunna "beak er in" ?! wth. way to START and END on a bad note. horse has learned enough already to know she can evade you easier n with less effort than it would take to calm down and try to understand and communicate. bravo.

  • WHAT she is only 3 and then you are putting a heavy handle on...

    that is not good.

  • i think you need a new vet. it was clearly seen he is wayyy to big for that horse.. and the saddle that was on the horse!

  • shes so cute!!!!!

  • @carlycat101 your a fucking idiot

that guy would have felt like a fly to the horse it freaked out cuse its not used to a saddle

  • god bless this horse is gone from you - i hope far away. You don´t have any knowledge about horses nor has your dad. The horse is lunging smooth? She sould be ready for her first ride??? You must be kidding! This video just shows how little many people know about horses - too sad!!!

  • he is waiting tooo long to get on just get on the damn thing already it took him like an hour.

  • why get on a horse for the first time with no helper, NO HAT and with other animals in the arena?? safety first - it all adds up a a better experience for the horse - and not learning to be able to chuck humans of from the beginning... Ps the saddle is clearly sitting beyond the (T18) last rib so too long for its back and sitting beyond the last fixed rib......;-)

  • That filly was ready to be ridden just the rider hasn't got the experience in breaking in horses

Remove the dog/distractions , use reins put some weight on the horse for a few seconds first then back off of course use a step first direction should be backward not forward the list goes on and on and most importantly if you fall off get back on and finish what you start

  • @BreakerBill The little filly was certainly NOT ready to handle this much weight.....

  • how cute is the dog!

  • silly - prob frightened a young horse - plus she looks a little young

  • i did this with my old youngster n she did prettymuch same thing i was too big for her really but she never complained just extremely spooky i fell off her at lest 3times on one ride everytime lol i should have got a girth that fit my own fault :) she was a great pony even if i was too big for her soo wot im not gunna let a 10yr old on a 4yr old neglected unbroken spooky 12.2 pony ever, it never bothered her and i only ever walked her anyways people make me laugh get over yourselfs :)

  • previously abused...hello get your fat ass off thats abusive enuf, 2nd you know nothing about training why arent you holding the reins DER TA DER

  • @rockmychevys350 Can you read?Geez read the description for once before you embaress your self-.-

  • fatty fall down.

  • To all the morons who probably aren't really very educated horse people, although his "method" to get on is unorthodox, it isn't fair to criticize this dudes weight in this situation. Just thought any real horse people out there may be able to notice it was this fillys first time being mounted, and i'm pretty sure he wasn't planning on trail riding for hours So it wouldn't really matter anyway, huh?

  • lol Fiesty!

  • this is what i did on my filly's first ride ever: i left the halter on under the bridle, then got somebody to hold her while i got on slowly and they led me around for a few minutes, and it led to amazing success. i guess i was too much of a wimp to just hop right on lol even though she reared and bucked, despite the lead line, it still gave me and the man holding her a bit more control.

  • That man is too heavy for that horse. The fact that he is almost the same size as the horse says it all. Someone needs to talk some sense into him, poor thing.

  • He/she is to Fat for this horse!

  • this horse is obviously not ready for a rider. and two.. never let un unexperienced rider try to get on a young unbroke horse. Its not funny when they do get hurt!!!

  • hah the dog was like holy shit im getting outta the way

  • your dads to well fat and i would have bucked him off to

  • thats pretty aswome :0

  • She looks like a normal young horse until I see your Dad next to her. She looks like a foal next to him.

  • haha! she was so proud of herself :')

  • cool!!! what a sweat horse u have :) what program do u use? :)

  • thats y u hold the rains when u get on

  • Honest horse, heavy dude. She saved the worst for when he was off.

  • oh god i love her sassiness xD

  • i admire you for your training efforts, but if you're training/breaking a horse, you definitely can control who rides and how they ride your horse. That's how bad habits get instilled.

Beautiful young horse, though. Love what you did with the tarps- that can require a lot of patience from both horse and trainer.

  • aawhh! congrats on saving her and getting her to where she needs to be : )

  • you fucling ideots

livvy sed your fat and jo sed you cant get on a horse bless

  • He's too big for the horse. Also, is he trying his weight on her back without a saddle? Or a weighted bag? let her get used to something. He is throwing his weight and that is why she balked.

  • Whoever that is deserved that!! when a horse is 1st been ridden you should deffo wear a helmitt!! and body protector, like you said shes a YOUNG and UNPREDICTABLE horse!! you should have someone holding her!! and someone helping you up!! no wounder she did that!!. -.-

  • i think it is still abused ... with un experienced rider sad...

  • wtf were you excpecting ?

  • That shit was funny, and yes too heavy for that poor horse

  • Hey guys I had a laugh and if you had fun that's all that counts! We don't need qualification to train our own horses, we learn from what we read, see and try. Good job, I know you laughed too.Can I just suggest what we do at least in my village? We saddle break them first, then we ride them bareback, taking our time here, and when the're ok with that we ride with the saddle. The reason is that it is easier to slip off if you need to bareback , safety that's all, but it's up to you.

  • im only 106lbs n young yet n can stay on a crow hoppin horse n not use the horn or ne thing

  • This is adorable :) and to everyone saying he's to big, hes not. Horses can carry amazing amount of weight. Someone has to break it it and i dont see any of you volunteering so get over it! I think this pony is beautiful and your dad had a nice fall! haha

  • aww tht poor wee pony! soryr but she needed someone a little smaller =/

  • your too fat fot that horce you stupid idiott

  • Why would he get on without holding the reins. thats like jumping out of a plane without a parachute,....

  • maybe your dad should learn to ride. Who gets on a horse without holding onto the reins!!!!!!!!!

  • Haha, let me have her for 30 minutes and she'd be ready and buck proof.

you can't wait around like that with the foot up deal. Best to just commit and go through with swinging your leg over. Good show though!

  • Comment removed

  • ahhhhhahahahahahah! sorry buts thats funny. your dad wasnt even holding the damn reins. the filly took advantage of that situation

  • if your going to get on a horse like that in an open field... hold the reins

  • Your aussie saddle doesn't even fit her and your dad is way way to heavey for a horse that size especially a young horse and doesn't help he hung there on her side

  • Wow what annoying music!

  • not only the guy is too big..if he just got on the horse faster then his attempt and gatherd his reins up in the first place he woulda been fine!

    it wasnt an intentional buck

  • LOL great video, good luck with her

  • Sorry but this guy is too heavy for the horse, as you can see the saddle gets pulled to the side and the horse is going with it, plus it helps to have hold of the reins as well.

  • your too heavy for that horse, I would of bucked you off too. get a lighter rider or at the very least a mounting block and someone to lead the horse around after your aboard. you notice the build of that horse very light in every way no more than 20 percent of it's weight includ saddle should be on her.

better yet get a trainer for her, your not qualifed. sorry for the bad post but it had to be said.

    RR

  • That is not me, that's my dad. I can't control what he does.

The horse is NOT in any way built light 0.o I honestly don't think you were watching the same video because I have light built thoroughbreds. We had a vet approve my dad to ride her and they said she was fine to be ridden. Actually, she's already broke and adopted out. I'd say I did a pretty good job breaking her. Also, did you relize how old this video was? This horse has been gone for a LONG time...

  • @TheRosa63 I agree that they shoudlnt be training horses because of the lack of qualification, but if you think of the weight issue not EVERY trainer is light. WEIGHT doesnt matter..not everyone weighs 110 pounds like me and girls dont tend to be the first ones one bucking horses like me..its guys and they weigh about 200 pounds or so! It doesnt matter if there horses knees are closed.

  • @TheRosa63 He was not too heavy for the horse if its the horses first time under a saddel the horse just freaked out he's still learning. and the way hes training the horse is quite good thats how %80 of horse trainers would be doing it

  • @TheRosa63 But surely the ill fitting tack is okay! right? Haha everything was so wrong about the riding. I agree with you. At least she got adopted out

  • AWESOME!!

  • HAHA! no offence but i was ROFL!! rolling on floor laughing!

  • awesome attempt haha

  • OUCH! Daddy got told x3
