Its allright, but you dont see, to have a natural feeling for rythm, so I suggest you work on that to improve..

Actually the timing is 7/4. If you listen to the real song, he strums the same way I do. The only parts I messed up on (strumming-wise), were the pauses right before he'd come back in again, a little bit. It's just dead silence and I'd be counting to the wrong number because I always thought it was 6, but it's 7 >_>.

you play 12 fret and then bend 12th, but

in solo john plays: 12fret and then 14th, so it sounds much better (you can see solo exactly in music video of song)

Yea you just need to develop an ear for strumming patterns. For me it's cuz it was my favorite song for a few months and I heard it like a 1000 times, so I naturally picked up the strumming patterns used in it.
