Gen has really a bad matchup with dalshim... Gen needs to close the combat because the only long range attack its so obiously. And to get close to Dalshim its a HARD thing. i usually use the down up left +kick EX to close, it work in the correct moment. But a good Dalshim always its a bad handicap for Gen.
I don't think its that bad, it's no worse than the other guys without fireballs, Gen has some good ways to close distance. Jibbo seemed off his game, maybe he was less comfortable with Dhalsim or this Dhalsim.
how about going into crane, FADC through fireball + jump? in a lot of cases a good opportunity for shakudan + lp + jyasen. that knocks about 1/2 off sim's health.

A lot of throw techs and whiffed throws.

FADC through fireball? That = Bad. Against any good sim he'll just hit you as you fa so you take both damage.
Should only attempt to focus limbs. Focusing fireballs is just saying here hit me.
