Brown Matcha indicates a low quality. High quality Matcha has a vibrant green colour as you can see in the video. The Chasen (whisk) is essential to get a nice thick froth, but doesn't influence the colour. There are many grades of Matcha and the differences are vast. Check the link in the video to learn more about our Matcha, it really is exceptional.

My Matcha is more like brown ... why? do I need the "wrisk"?
