  • LOL people/Tourists in the bus and in their cars are thinking... 'WTF?'

  • cheak it out its callum in the floresent yellow backpack

  • Not only does Telecom buy itself a flash mob, it appears on YouTube trying to disguise itself as a couple of ordinary YouTubers.

  • not impressed at all. people should watch videos from "improveverywhere"...

  • Comment removed

  • wow ok so you didnt like the flash mob, and then you make the effort to find the video of the flash mob you hated to tell a few people you didnt like it! get a life!!

  • Flash mobs = Attention seeking fools. Paid flash mobs = Attention seeking whoring fools.

  • It is not a flash mob if everyone is paid to be there. This is a lame rip off improveverywhere, just like thing singer office add was arip off. Telecom spend some money and help out the New Zealand indutry by getting smart kiwis to come up with orignal ideas for you.

  • Looks like a giant outdoor gaybar

  • Lol true!

  • shit some people are so fucking lame. we got paid for this and it was shit fun. fuck what u say! lets see ur dancing bitches hehehe.

  • lol too much fun

  • My internet is so pucking slow!

  • haha that would have been funny to watch

  • I was there ... it was great ...

  • wtf, a lot of those guys probably jus wanted to cross the street but couldn't coz of them.

i walk down this street nearly everyday

  • Are the people portraying some kind of pause - rewind - fast forward tv thing?

  • I don't really know what this has to do with TIVO, or how it really advertises it.

  • hahah you just showed how, you mentioned it and you came and looked at this video, thats how viral marketing works.

it would have been better if they had of done it in the street, stopped traffic and moved towards the theatre. might have made the news.

  • it did make the news :)

  • actually, it was heaps of fun.

    and we all got paid.

people need to chill the f$ck out.

sure it was for telecom, but you weren't forced to watch it.

    lighten up.

  • Pretty cool although i reckon it mightve been better if it was done in a more closed in area like a mall or something it wouldve had more effect but thats just my opinion. Good effort though :)

  • thats kewl azz,wishn I werr apart of that..lol

  • Spirit of genuine flash mobbing gets hi-jacked / stolen by big corporation, and something that used to be amazing and spontaneous immediately becomes fake and worthless. Cynical? Me? Oh yes.

  • I love you.

  • i do know where it is , and yes its shit and very small ha

  • Enjoy your frequent droughts and water shortages, living in the desert - what a joke

  • i live in a coastal area its nice and green and we have plenty of water thanks snyway...

  • In denial. Typical of a desert dweller.

  • yawn...

  • water shortages. haha ur a monkeys blue arse!!!!

  • Is this some strange desert term? I'm afraid you may have to explain it to me.

  • wheres a desert u monkey, ur face is probably a monkeys blue arse

  • i commend you on your great effort! i think this video was fab! wat an awesome idea! just wish i was there to see it:) shame to all those bad mouthing it!! i bet your just jealous you weren't brave enough to dance on the streets of auckland!! or i bet you can't even dance!! well done TiVo what a fantastic dance, best thing in auckland for a long time! go TiVo!!:)

  • go new zealand

  • Umm... good on these dancers for getting paid and all that, but this is not cool its just a PR stunt. Doesn't anyone wonder why the sound is so good on this spontaneous video?

  • New Zealand is awesome and its population is like 4 and an half million

obviously your geography sucks and none of you have ever been

  • dont diss new zealanf loser

  • I bet you don't even know where New Zealand is.

  • why couldnt this have happend tuesday :( i was in auckland then

  • Wow, so many negative Nancy's in the world. Cheer up guys! Gutted for u if some light hearted dancing in the street can't make u smile! :D This was so much fun, definitely made my day :)

  • lol wtf.. they stopped traffic for 3min for that

  • The 'busy streets of Auckland' - are oyu having a laugh?

Have you ever been anywhere else? It's a fucking village.

  • Trolling is tough but someones gotta do it.

  • alright sunshine simmer down =) did you catch the one T-Mobile did @ Liverpool station? think it was late last year some time, it was huge and pretty impressive.

  • actually a village only has between 1 - 100 people here in new zealnd thats a good thingwe dont have stck up people like you here or over crowded population and auckland is busy to us expecially when your stuck in a traffic jam for 3hrs so whatever!

  • i woulda thrown eggs at them. or grenades. yep definitly grenades

  • Awesome stuff, cant believe thats in the busy streets of Auckland

  • the best bit was when it ended..and they all pissed off

  • for crying out loud let the people cross the street!

  • Flashmob?

Looks way too well choreographed to me.

  • nice effort, but seems like a pretty small MOB. t-mobile did a launch at Liverpool Station in London and it was hyoooge! and there was proper music too so heaps of ppl stopped to watch and dance along. nobodies got a clearer shot of this dance?

  • um...london has, i dunno, 12 million people. auckland cbd, like 12 thou

  • hehe, sorry, i should've been a bit clearer about what i was trying to say - yes, it'd be unfair to compare Auckland vs. London - but if we're talking proportions, the London one was organized in a way that the impact was big enough to make even the most desensitized Londoner, and the media, take notice... it was all over the news... i only just came across this on youtube. they should've maybe held it in britomart?

  • they did one in Britomart too - check the other vids by the person who put this one up

  • i saw it too~way tomy work~~lol

  • That's why I hate going into Auckland's CBD, never know when you'll get caught up in these flashmob, then you just have to participte or else you're the odd one out LOL

  • What's up with the license-free soundtrack? What a can't afford APRA payments for your Saatchi's party.

  • haha i just noticed that myself! kinda makes it pretty boring when you cant follow along w/ songs you know?!

  • Wow you are all so cool.....pft

  • HAhhaha this is awesome!!!!

  • This isn't a flashmob, this is just public dancing. Lame.

  • I saw these guys dancing twice today and I thought they were amazing. It put a smile on my face.

  • Awesome dancing!!!

  • Wow, annoying...

  • I saw this and it was very cool!

  • Wow, this makes me really wanna buy Tivo! not....

  • a shame the camera holder was moving so much as it looked like it could have been so cool to watch so may people doing a great choreographed dance... such a shame asithe camera holder hindered the hard work of the dancers.

  • Let's call it a CASHmob. Still cool fun.
