1MrErling you must have been walking around with your ears closed in 1973-1975 as during that period nazareth released 3 fantastic albums at that time, being razamanaz, rampantand hair of the dog ,albums very much equal to the bands you mention if not in some cases better,as for abba they were pure class.
My father insists upon blasting this to the point of the house shaking, and the neighbours hollering every drunken opportunity he gets! I don't think he or I will ever get tired of it.
Funny you should say that. I knew a guy in Russia about 15 years who used to drive around the city streets at midnight with Nazareth at full blast with all the windows open.

I grew up in the seventhies, and I like Nazareth now a days.
I'm getting older of curse (54), but bak in the days ( 1973-1975) when I was 16-18... Nazarareth wasn't proggressive enough.
Among me and my friends, Nazareth was lik ABBA..!
We enjoyed Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Steppenwolf, ELP, Grand Funk, Uriah Heep, Black Sabbath
Nazareth wasn't hard enough
But now they are ok.
