  • That gun is so cool.

  • I don't know how many times I've watched your vids. Anyway. I'm thinking of getting a RPK since I have an AK, does the RPK have better accuracy with the heavier and longer barrel?

  • @buki671 yes I am able to hit the kill zone on a steel plate at 200 yards every time. Once you get the sights dialed in its noticeably more accurate than an ak. also shooting prone with the bipod helps to.

  • @buki671 the iraqis made an sniper version based on the ak47. its much like the rpk i think. and yes it is used for cqb and not for long range sniping :P

  • Hey Dietzeeeee,

I like your videos a lot. They have good explanations and descriptions about the weapons involved. But it's been awhile since you've made a new video. Are you coming out with any new videos anytime soon? Do you have a new youtube channel people look at? Please, let us know what's up with you.

  • Nice gun and nice generals music

  • @TheKILLAHUNT right i was thinkin the same thing haha cac ne1??

  • I know its possible to make your weapon full auto, this guy who made weapons for the CIA said it's easy, you just have to file down the trigger mechanism, is this true? Because he took my dads galil and when he returned it one day later, it was full auto, he never told how he did it....anyone know how?

  • @sladerfoster I know that filing down the trigger or internals is the most unreliable way to try an make any gun full auto. The most reliable way for an ak is to drill the hole required for the full auto control group. You would need full auto control group parts disconnector and so on. However after 1986 it is illegal to convert any semi auto into a full auto with out a class 3 license. I strongly advise you stay with in the law. It is not worth doing hard time over something so stupid.

  • @sladerfoster This is intrue. There are two ways to make an AK automatic:

    1. Remove disconnector. This may/may not work depending on the rifle, and is also extremely dangerous - out of battery fire can occur, and the rifle can literally explode in your face.

    2. Add a full-auto trigger group, including auto sear and rate reducer. This requires drilling third axis pin hole in the receiver, which is a felony without proper license. You need a full-auto carrier as well.

    Don't do it.

  • That beast needs the new slide fore AK stock!!!!

  • ill sub to ya man u seem like a nice guy, lol, nice channel to

  • if you were to dump the whole drum would the hot barrel start cooking the bullets and cause them to shoot off prematurely?

  • @bangmeister I have dumped a whole drum followed by about a 1 min cool down followed by another drum fired in bursts. after that though the oil in the wood starts to seep out. You really wouldn't want to touch or even graze the barrel with any exposed skin. As for a round cooking off in the chamber. I have never had it happen. It is possible and I have heard / seen videos of it happening. saw a video of a m-60 fired 1,000 rounds straight cooked off a round in about 3 seconds.

  • @bangmeister no

  • Nice trigger control.

  • wow. loks like a fun gun to shoot. in my opinion i live soveit made weapons. perhaps that is your same opinion, yes?

  • @TheGorale97 I like weapons that work... so yes I like soviet weapons LOL

  • Semi auto my ass.

  • @ethanroks He's gun bumping bro

  • i hear a Pittsburgh accent there... can hear them a mile away! i have the Yugo RPK. just got it this summer. it does have a chrome-lined barrel. new laws say you need to have an american made receiver and barrel, so they're putting chrome-lined ones on there.

  • @smasci as to the accent.... no comment.... : )

yeah the first american made barrels for most guns were non chrome lined. I know aresonal made chrome lined barrels for theirs but its good news to hear others are starting to step it up.

  • @Dietzeeeee Cant you get a RPK without a Drum Round?

  • @AccessDenied55 RPKs can take standard AK47 mags.

  • @smasci what law says you need to have an american barrel? i think you are misunderstanding 922r

  • @Duckyistrippin According to AIM It's an ATF thing. ATF now says you can't use machine gun barrels on a semi-automatic rifle.

  • @smasci you can use them, you just cant import them. ;)

  • i wonder if it would be a bad idea to put a long range scope on one of these

  • is that a 75 or 100 rnd drum?

  • Have you ever tried mounting a PSO-1 or PGO-7 on it? Quite a few Soviet soldiers did just that in Afghanistan in the 80's with quite a bit of success at longer ranges. (Great review by the way)

  • I have always wondered is the RPK any more accurate than the AK-47 like the Romanian WASR 10?

  • @AgentMorris94 yes it is the sights are further apart giving you a better sight radious that and a little more muzzle velocity.

  • @AgentMorris94 Ak or at least its younger brother the AKM is rarely accurate the first shot

  • @AgentMorris94 I've read some stats that said RPK's are accurate out to 600 meters... don't know how true that is tho. it has to be more accurate, just because of the sight radius and longer barrel.

  • nice!

  • just flag all the cod spam comments as spam, these losers are getting out of hand

  • @TensionAirsoft I got a better idea I can just remove their comments and save you the trouble

  • Hey...your a Command and Conquer Generals Soldier nice one Burton....

  • Is this Command and Conquer Generals music lol?

Great vid...im hoping to buy an AES10B soon

  • ak-47 on steroids

  • cool gun bro

  • Great video. Best review of RPK on youtube. Thanks for sharing.

  • it looks like a RPd and a aK 47

    RPK

  • You said yours is semi auto? were you trying to bump fire it or does it have a hair trigger?

  • @Jamesevers89 It has a red star arms adjustable trigger group

  • dude your are pretty good on your trigger you should check me on my RPK I would like a RPK owner to tell me what he thinks!!!!

  • @GunLuvnGuitaristGuy I wish... No its a Century arms

  • Pack a punch it!

  • shit call of duty fucked up my mind

  • Song is USA battle theme 1 Command & Conquer general's

  • what would this do to a car or a house?

  • @uuuultra cinder blocks do not stand a chance against a 7.62x39mm round as for a car I can only imagine.... It would not be pretty.

  • oh great, now I want to play C&C...

  • @PhauxTheFox me to

  • Northumberland?

  • @Dietzeeeee northumberland, PA?

  • @lazarevic95 you are the closests to guessing but no.

  • @Dietzeeeee am i really?

  • @lazarevic95 yup

  • @Dietzeeeee the range looked familiar

  • Im pretty damn sure that is a Russian RPK...

  • love your video man got me a AES 10 MYSELF AND GOT SAY YOUR ARE GOOD WITH YOUR TRIGGER LIKE ME AND NEED MORE PEOPLE LIKE YOU!!! KEEP IT UP DUDE!!!!

  • damn you got a quick trigger finger

  • man my AK-47 is way better but I am looking forward to buying this weapon its much like an M60 for me :P or a M249 but with better accuracy so how much time does it take to finish all the 130 bullet?

  • What kind of trigger did it come with? Is that a G2? Amazing. Nice job.

  • @vicnetto It came with a G2 but I switched it out for a Red Star Arms adjustable trigger. It is the best.

  • The song reminds me on Command & Conquer Generals :D

  • @jessicandre2007 It should LOL

  • sweet gun man! I have mine on a 10 day backround right now! cant wait to shoot that bad boy

  • My dream gun, how much was that?

  • @AnotherStupidGamer About $650 but that was years ago you can expect to pay more.

  • @Dietzeeeee was yours made by century arms?

  • those black coloured 7.62 by 39 rounds looked awsome

  • Il take 2. Awesome review

  • that was definitely auto firing

  • @KEVINMEJIA15 Nope look closer. With a redstar arms adjustable trigger group it is very easy to get off rounds fast.

  • @Dietzeeeee sorry my bad, just saying it looked auto to me.

  • @KEVINMEJIA15 It does sound almost auto. Shooting with that trigger group and in the prone position makes it the closest thing to having a full auto that I know of.

  • you should better buy bolt action or semi rifle. it not worth anything if your automatic rifle can not shoot full auto

  • @tny0061 it is semi auto

  • @tny0061 He's a gun collector, a target shooter, maybe a hunter, and an average citizen. What would be the need for a machine gun? It is ignorant people like you who make our ignorant members of the House want to ban more and more guns.

  • Comment removed

  • so are you just pulling the trigger real fast? cause it does sound auto.

  • @GARfredable he could be bump firing it.

  • @BarmanBrown I was not bump firing it. I just have the trigger pull and reset set nice and short but still safe.

  • is the stock magazine the same as the ak?????

  • does it matter what brand of rpk you buy. i am looking for one but romainan? yugo? century?

  • how are the romanian aes-b by century any insight of it and how well it is?

  • Hey man, could you tell me the maker of this particular model? I've been wanting to get one but I can only find the ones with the wire stock and those are extremely uncomfortable

  • @MrFuckyouintheneck Century Arms made mine. They are harder to find now with the club stocks. Your best bet is to buy one with the wire folding stock and just remove it and buy a club stock. However you could expect to pay up to $100 or more just for a club stock.

  • @Dietzeeeee Alright apprectiate it brother. Keep shootin' straight!

  • @MrFuckyouintheneck I think you can take that off and put a regular stock on it. the wire side folder is the only folding stock you can change out with out messing with the trunion.

  • You seems to stick with the AK series.

    I personally loves the AR-15 A2 and A4.

  • @Marine17inlove I like them because I am 5'7" and the stock length is "perfect" for me. I do have an AR-15 set up in a A@ config I just have not done a video on it yet. for 200 yards and in I would take an AK any day but if I was going to a shooting match then the AR would be one of my choices not the AK

  • @Dietzeeeee Well dude, indeed, I do expect to see a video on an AR or two, because I don't really have ma' mind for Russo's arms. Good vid anyway.

  • FINALLY REAL SIGHTS I was trying to find some other sight besides black ops

  • nice

  • I bet it was worth all $600

  • @AKfirearms my friend has one, and YES

  • isnt that music from command and qonquer?

  • @slipknotownd yes

  • Comment removed

  • get a birdcage flash hider on that bad boy!!

  • Is that a E. German Sling?

  • @TheAk47Enthusiast I believe so

  • @LukeRidd No its not the gun in lag ops is RPK74

  • where did you get yours?

  • @ENTERMYDEATHMASK gunbroker

  • dont you just love the sound of a weapon locking a round into the chamber

  • whats the accuracy on these

  • @ak47proshooter I have no shot past 100 yards but getting a milk jug is easy

  • @Dietzeeeee what about 101 yards

  • I love this fucking rifle

  • hahahaha command and conquer music!!!

  • what is the make of the receiver? I did not notice a dimple on the mag well. Could it be a WASR 10 type receiver?

  • @shinymarshtop2 i was just mentioning it was in there WTF that means i dont like real guns?

  • @HalfricanNanners I like real guns and guns in video games... esspecially when they get them right... I like them all ! ! ! expect the French made Chauchat that gun just blows.

  • @Dietzeeeee that gun relay is crap i seen it in being fired didnt shoot more than 5 rounds before jaming

  • The RPK is gonna be in COD black ops

  • @HalfricanNanners keep it in the game videos please? ive seen some gamers (especially of CoD) get bashed on real gun videos just givin ya a heads up

  • i have a question for you dietzeeeee, is it posible to get a russian made ak style rifle

  • @socomassassin saiga makes ak style rifles... and some companies make saiga's converted into semi auto ak's capable of accepting high cap magazines.

  • @Dietzeeeee k thanks

  • Thats a full auto gun. Don't lie to us.

  • @eman4756 LOL no its not... red star arms adjustable trigger group firing prone supported wiggle your finger and see what happens you will get simular resaults.

  • Comment removed

  • Where can i get one!

  • @AddictedToPS3 the website gunbroker had them. you can also get a yugo version but it does not have a chrome lined barrel or a club stock, but it does have a heavy barrel with cooling fins... Some day a yugo rpk may find its way into my collection will see.

  • good videos but where do live and whats the diffrence bettween an ak-47 and Rpk

  • @loganm223 I live east of the mississippi in a state that is gun friendly lol and thats all you guys need to know. ak's have a shorter skinnier barrel and a thinner reciever. Also the stock and for grip are different. Also an AK rear sight does not have windage the RPK does.

  • I saw these at JG Sales for $670, they also had a side folding wire stock. Is that price to expensive or to cheap???

  • @MrM4man well. I do not know if the stock will fold with a drum. I also would op for the club stock. cheap to one person may seem expensive to another. I got mine for $625 but that was long before the "presidental election scare" that drove prices up among ammo and guns. If you can find a club stock that matches I could consider it. an RPK with a wire stock would balance a little strange. plus I personally like to at least make an attempt to make it look original.

  • @Dietzeeeee cool, who's the mf??

  • I found an RPK for around $450 over the weekend while visiting a friend in NH. I really wish CT didn't ban all AK-type rifles in 7.62x39mm, I'd have loved to have bought and shipped that beauty home.

  • @MosinDragunov1891 yeah sounds like a good deal.... Make sure you get one with a heavy barrel... and hopefully your state legislator will wake up or you will eventually get out of there LOL...

  • Man im just suprise you have an rpk

  • @MercPirate I saw one... and decided I had to have one.... 600 dollars later I had one. LOL. It is probably the most devistating gun I own just because of its reach low recoil power and magazine capacity

  • what is the name of the song in this video? have enjoyed your AK and RPK videos, very well made.

  • @jubbles2343 Its a track from the game command and conquer generals. I forget the name of the track. Glad you liked the review. This was the first review I did with music and was also the turning point when I decieded I was going to also put an effort in to edit the hell out of my videos and try to make them as best as I could with the tools and software I had " which isn't much "

  • whoa glad im not a milk jug

  • @Rambowookie Yes it was a bad day to be a milk jug.

  • @Dietzeeeee Its a good day to die for your plastic milkjugs! :P

  • YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @KFDEx ! ! ! ! glad you liked it ! ! ! !

  • dang dude i think u have a full auto finger nice =)

  • @vazquez2000 well its a combo of a fast trigger finger and the red star arms adjustable trigger group. If I could afford it I would get one for all my ak's

  • @Dietzeeeee really how much are they

  • @vazquez2000 the red star arms adjustable trigger groups are around $70 they make them for many ak stamped type guns like the romak dragunov style rifles saigas galil and some others... they are a must if you want an awesome trigger pull that you can set just the way you want.

  • is there much difference between the accuracy of this rifle and the ak-47?

  • @whatdafloopyjoop The RPK is a little more accurate because of the longer barrel... Also it is much more controlable under rapid fire.

  • You got a pretty fast triggerfinger.

  • @diramonsky Thanks ! Yeah so many are quick to comment thinking its full auto with out watching the whole review.

  • @breadlover95 uhhhh It does have the charging handle on the right side.....

  • when zombies attack im comin to you lol

  • @willt9220 yes zombies are a real threat you can never have enough guns or ammo.

  • where the hell are you getting all these guns from i must know!!!

  • @jburch001 gunbroker Its a website where you can buy trade and sell guns and parts and accesories. You have to have all firearms shipped to a FFL dealer and fill out the paper work before taking them home with you.

  • That was awsome! I noticed he was fireing the 7.62x39mm version. Which by most accounts standards is a better version.

  • man awesome sound

  • I'm debating right now between a PSL and a RPK. The RPK would go better with my ak as they would share ammo and mags. PSL would have more punch though.

  • @politicalsheepdog Just depends on what you want. A sniper rifle or a squad support style rifle. A Romanian PSL is on my wish list of guns to be had in the future. I do have a mosin nagant sniper rifle. So I can tell you the 7.62x54R does have a bit more punch, but getting non corrisive ammo is a bit more pricey then the 7.62x39mm.

  • @politicalsheepdog Get both! I've got to pick up my Romy PSL tomorrow, and I've had both a Yugo and Romanian RPK. Still have the Yugo. They just seem more tough, but both are great semi-auto variants.

  • Do you have any idea where I could get one of these

  • @TheKentuckykid9513 Got mine on gunbroker Then had it sent to my local FFL dealer.

  • @TheKentuckykid9513 Aim Surplus has Yugo M72 RPKs and both JG Sales and Classic Arms have Romanian RPKs. I love my M72. They are built like tanks.

  • Dude

Maybe one of your next vids should be hot to install and adjust that frackin' sweet trigger.

That would be very helpful to all of us AKophiles.

I've just found my next parts buy for my SGL20 and the Draco!!

  • @snoprog Next AK I get I will be getting another red star arms trigger group you rest assure I will make a video on it when I install it !

  • how long does the effective range?

    &

how does the weigh of this gun?

  • @IhavNoNem I would say about 400 yards resonably anything past that is pushing it. weight is about 11 lbs unloaded.

  • gd review

  • @energygreen84 Thanks glad you liked it. This is probably one of my favorite guns to shoot.

  • no offence but,

whats the point of an RPK /Light Machine Gun/ that only does semi auto?

  • @lebensbraum5 with a good trigger group I can preform pretty much up to the level of a full auto esspecially when I have people keep asking me if the gun is full auto and I am able to get a steady bead on a target over 100 yards away.

  • As the video shows it is still possible to attain a high rate of fire even though it is semi-auto thanks to his trigger replacement.

Also, fully automatic RPK's are fairly uncommon and can literally cost over $10,000 and require extensive background checks and other permit-related costs ($200 tax stamp).

Overall it is just easier for a civilian to own a $600 RPK than something far more expensive.

  • K i gotcha. I also checked out a few fully auto re-makes off of soviet ones, they cost a pretty fair penny but I didn't see one over 6000(of course there replicas though). I thought about gettin one for awhile but like u said i wouldave had to wait 5 months for the backround check plus a couple hundred to get all the paperwork for it... so I opted for an AK instead
