excellent Debbie. I have started a gradual move to fruit and veg only- i have reduced my carbs by half but still eat cooked rice,noodles, pasta but supplemented with fruit and veg plus tuna fish-very tasty. I still have hunger pangs but i am eating less calories. I haven't weighed myself for a few weeks. I do have more energy and feel healthier. Thanks Alison.
@philipsmovies Hey Philip, it sounds like you need to eat more calories - no need for hunger pains! Otherwise well done on moving towards fruit and veg only!
@AlisonAndrews Thanks Alison. My main problem is over eating and i need to lose weight. Medication also attributes to the hunger pains but i am now getting it out of my system and coming off the tablets. I am about four and a half stone overweight and i get plenty exercise. My weight is stabilising, so, it will take time.
@philipsmovies Best of luck with the weight loss - just keep in mind that calorie restriction is counter productive when it comes to weight loss, just keep replacing the less healthful foods with loads of fruit - it works like a charm! All the best!
