i saw my mom try this diet and let me tell you this , she lost so much weight every single day she kept loosing 1 pound. She was totally comfortable with this diet , she says " its so easy to keep this diet , you can eat as much as you want". Can recommend this diet to anyone. I've lost 30 kg on it in little lest than 6 months. Fantastic variety of foods, and no calories counting. I loved it. By the way, 1 year after the diet and still didnt gain a single kilo back.
This diet does work!!! It is definitely not meant for long-term, as carbohydrates are crucial for anyone's diet. However, this diet is great for a jumpstart to a healthy lifestyle. It is often compared to the infamous Atkins Diet but a major difference is that Atkins included many "fried" foods and The Dukan Diet does not. I'm thinking...does it really take a scientist to explain what fat, especially fried foods, does to our body composition???
Another pseudo science diet that is actually incredibly dangerous for your health. The best nutritional research will tell you eating that much animal protein is the worst thing you can do for you health.

I'm convinced that carbs are what make people fat...
but I'm confused as to how people in Asia are so slim despite having lots of carbs in their diet
& it's not just in poor countries where they have a lot of physical labor, but also in developed countries like Japan...
is it their genetics or something?
