  • Great review!

A couple of comments on the range from my own experience.

The foundation is lovely - very natural looking. I do find that it's a bit harder to clean out of my foundation brush though (shampoo doesn't seem to lift it easily)...

One of my favourite eye shadows is the E301. It's a beautiful, light, shimmery colour. It does set really quickly though. I've also found that the applicator tends to clog, and the brush bristles also bend out of shape over time.

  • Lisa, do you have the actual color #'s that ellis faas sent to you? Since it's only listed by number and not color name, that would be helpful. thanks!

  • @valhoff3 Shades only go by number in this range .... no names X

  • @lisaeldridgedotcom Right. I was asking if you told the numbers you used. I don't recall hearing you say what you used.

  • caught my fancy. lol! love it :)

  • Great review. You are too cute for words. Loved how excited you looked when you talked about using your hands with the products. I know exactly what you mean. It is great when make up is really fun to work with. It's like your inner child coming out to play! Adorable.

  • Major problems with the packaging! I have the foundation, conceal or, blusher and lipstick/stain. After two applications my blusher stopped coming through the tube...same for foundation. Extremely frustrating as texture and co ours are lovely. Would however not buy again!

  • hi Lisa! great video!

  • This isn't sold at Bergdorfs, not sure if it once was... This can be found at Space NK throughout NYC (including their locations within Bloomingdales), as well as the new Sephora down in the Meatpacking district and Woodley &Bunny in Williamsberg Brooklyn... I am DYING to try some of her products. The eye products actually come in 3 textrures, Milky and Creamy as shown here, but also in the Lights formula which is a metalic almost wet looking shine. I think this concept is brilliant and artful.

  • its gorgeous

  • yayyy you are classy and skilled like pixiwoo but you have a face shape more similar to mine, so you are just a bit more useful :)

  • This will go down very well with the Primrose Hill Yummy Mummy's......everything came out really well, gorgeous.

  • btw i juz saw ellis faas website and i tot it looked extremely cool equipped in their makeup belt.. looked like bullets. hehe

  • I love how u juz put dark brown creamy eye colour and it looks so glamourous.. i always try to do something like that but always ended up muddy looking. oh well... need more practice!

  • Lisa, have you ever tried Merle Norman products?

  • You look so much like Kristin Stewart (sp?) with this make up!

  • @Laurasour correction: kirsten stewart looks like lisa eldridge ;) lol

  • Like the colors dear Lisa

  • were have you been all my life lol everything you do is everything i love in makeup, i have been looking at these Ellis faas for a while my husband loves the red lip colours , i love how sheer they are but very pigmented they are you dont have to use alot of product

  • Someone's sneezing around 9:40 :D

  • I knew a dog with milky eyes... I think it was cataracts.

  • Comment removed

  • I can imagine this container being the only thing place on a sleek and chic designed vanity or desk surface instead of a bunch of cosmetics laying and rolling around, perhaps?

  • What IS that nail polish you are wearing please???

  • So pretty...

  • Very interesting concept!

  • great reviews! you kind of look like kat dennings in this video. BEAUTIFUL :D

  • Thanks for the review, Lisa! Beautiful stuff!

  • What foundationshade where you sent?

  • Interesting packaging! It can be quite empowering to load the barrel with the products. Almost like loading a gun barrel? Yikes!

Almost like a James Bonds-y type of experience ;)

    Great review!

  • what would you recommend that i buy besides the blush?

do you think that the foundation is worth buying?

  • I don't know...this product seems rather unnecessary to me. I personally like having my small compact palette and trusty lipstick in my bag. It'll probably weigh a fraction of this...and cost much less. AND I know how much product i have left, and can access all of it, to use it all....

  • Hi Lisa, how have u found the staying power of the concealer for under your eyes? I currently use Bobbi Brown but have been looking to try something different.. I swatched the tester at a counter and found or amazingly creamy!

Oh, I recently suggested a bridesmaids makeup tutorial for a wedding (phillipines) thus June and read that you may do such a look... do u think u will be filming this soon?

Thanks so much for your videos.. Love watching every one of them x

  • I love the capsule idea. Great package design!

  • Beautiful! Please can you tell us the number of the colours you used? Especially the blush, eyes and lip colours.

  • Soooo gorgeous! The packaging AND the product are simply stunning! Def gonna check it out as this is the second time Ive seen/heard positive feedback. So cool. Looks like what the 1950s would expect makeup to look like in "" ...the year 2000.....""

  • @missmary333 Ha yes you are right, i could imagine it in the 60's film Barbarella too! x

  • Cool

  • Wow, beautiful Lisa!

  • The whole look is great on you..very pretty

  • i dot know if you got this before, but you look like a polished version of kristen stewart :) its a compliment, kristen is gorgeous, just rough ..and you complete that

  • From certain angles in this video you looked like Vanessa Paradis (and that's a good thing). I definitely will be checking this range out, especially the eye colours. The blusher looked amazing on you xx

  • This is the ONLY foundation I have ever found that matches my pink undertone skin!!! Finally Im not YELLOW! Worth every penny!!!!

  • I love your videos!!!

  • I love that Solange Azagury-Partridge ring, it's gorgeous

  • I really love that eye color!!

  • This is absolutely gorgeous!

We have had this range in Australia for a few months now and have been impressed when Ive played around with testers. When things run out, its going to be replaced with Ellis Faas.

  • Thankyou so much for this review girl!!! xoxoxo

  • you have something from monica bellucci :)

  • @LenaKemp I was certainly thinking the same thing.

  • @LenaKemp she does doesn't she?

  • the foundation was a good match for you - love the way you did your eyes and the finish when set was lush and chic also the blush looked very good - thank you - now to find out how much it costs...!

  • Great review - I was lucky enough to attend the pre-launch of the range at Liberty, and I was really impressed with it. Apparently all the colours in the range exist in the human body, and so they suit everyone - the creamy eyes is amazing in terms of staying power too - I can't wait til it launches properly in the uk!

  • @mizzworthy Me too! Thanks for your comment x

  • Thank you so informative- think you look

glowing, with just a few products.

    Do they last?

  • @trstUrslf thanks for the comment and compliment! The products do last very well especially the eyeshadow which stayed on without creasing or fading for several hours (took some getting off!) x

  • Looks like a flask Lol....looks great and the concept is different, but I'm interested in how much product you would get for your money. I still love the mess of a make-up bag lol :) Thanks for the review Lisa.
