  • anybody know of a 2t or 3t22 still standing in cincinnati? REALLY want to film one but i cant seem to find any where i live.

  • @truemetalist89 The only 2T22 or 3T22 that I know of is off the west Carrolton Exit in Dayton by the Dayton Mall it is on the west side of the I-75 left off the highway then left on the first street. I think they test on the first Monday of the month.

  • @Jpressman8 thnx! i actually live in Mason so its only about a 30-minute drive to dayton.

  • there is an ASC T-128 down by raymond walters in blue ash. pass it every time i drive to night class.

  • is this the same siren that replaced the broken rotator allertor?

  • @97Siren No this one is on Springdale Rd. In Colerain Township.

  • Hamilton county needs to seriously change their siren policy, every time there is a tornado watch and a severe t-storm warning the dang sirens go off... people panic and head for the basement only to find out it was just a good ole summer thunder storm, some day this policy will be responsible for lives lost... the boy who cried wolf syndrome... personally, when the sirens go off, i head outside with my video recording equipment.. its the storm lover in me..

  • @yellowgroove I too am a huge storm lover. Yes I agree. They need to change. I had proposed an idea to Hamilton County EMA to use the steady alert tone for severe Thunderstorm Warnings only and the wavering attack tone for tornado warnings only. Of course this will have to be heavily publicized if they were to make this change. The June 14th storm was not a tornado warned storm until it entered Hamilton county the sirens were sounded 7 minutes too late. Storm was already here doing damage..

  • OK, the day we'll record a complete cover of APP's Psychobabble we'll know to who ask :-D

  • @urbania70 Great song. LOL :D Sirens are a hobby of mine. I have plenty of videos just let me know. :D

  • They test the sirens when it's cloudy like that? That would have me thinking it was an actual tornado warning lol.

  • @akaDJMantis The clouds were not storm clouds. They will not test when there is impending severe whether.

  • Correction to my earlier comment.!!!! There are 32 T-128s opersting in Hamilton County.

  • @Droideka133 You're Welcome.

  • thanks for subscribing

  • The custom home made siren is actually two separate sirens working as one.

  • Yes, Colerain still has the homemade siren but it is now painted gray.

  • garyhstorms09 no I was just frustrated at the time. We are probably going to get hit with the 2001 virus here. This is one of 10 T-128s in the system. We are trying to get EMA to go with these T-128s instead. We have a local ASC dealer in Hamilton County with the lowest bid,but somehow the county is trying to find a loophole so they can bypass the bid process to buy direct and go with Federal Signal. Politics are a drag

  • Awesome video. That T-128 sounds great! The wind down is scary.

  • Nice video Jason. Why are you not going to film any more siren tests?

  • What will you be doing after this video are you moving on to other things and have you lost your interest in sirens and i saw one of these for the first time near a refinery

it replaced a Thunderbolt 1000T recently and these are huge even from a distance

  • Great video Jason. i rarley see T-128's in Minnesota. I've only seen 2, outside of Minneapolis.

  • @ironike11 Yeah I don't see many in MN either

  • Big like. Shame it's a little distorted when it points to the camera, but it just shows how damn loud these great sirens are.

  • Thanks, Jeb , Evan , and @HystoricalMicrobe .

Jeb, make sure you post some video of the install. I was about 200 to 250 feet away from this T-128 and it is still extremely loud. I could also hear the choppers compressor blades sucking in the air.

  • This video doesn't do too bad of a job showing how loud these things are. So much louder than a Whelen.

  • Awesome vid Jason. Hopefully I'll be installing one of these in bibb county soon, I'm still waiting on the county to award the contract.

  • Great sounding T-128! Does Colerain still have the one yellow siren that was homemade?

  • Excellent video of the T-128!

  • Thanks Dan and Thanks Andy. :)

  • Awesome job Jason!

  • Wow! Awesome sounding T-128!
