These are wonderful! I bought one recently from Analogue Haven in Los Angeles. I think it's the only place to buy one in the US(?). This is just a quality product, of course, if you like these noise/synth devices. But truly excellent. And I'm finding tonight, through a good fuzzbox, it sounds absolutely sensational.
Also got mine from AH (Shawn, always a driving force! Draining all my savings with these outlandish gadgets!), but never thought of putting it through a fuzzbox! Great idea - got one of those Geiger Counters from WMD - I'll give it a try - excellent suggestion!
yeah - there's some great stuff out there, just calling to your bank account. All of these little known synths - the babybox is a great one. Off the top of my head - the drone commander from eric archer. Mr. Ugly's stuff. Crowphonics modular. Little Boy Blue. The best stuff is made by these small companies....
Got the last Board Weevil by Bugbrand from them - man, just too much! If you enjoyed the Babybox, you should give it a shot (and its half the cost of a Babybox) - as said, though I got AH's last one, I received a message from bugbrand that they still have a last batch before calling it quits for this incredible piece - most likely, this last batch will hit Analogue Haven soon. Keep a lookout for it, you won't regret it!

I didn't realize that they were going to phase out the board weevil. That's too bad. It's one of a kind.
I plan on building something like this.. But I was wondering if you could tell me where I could purchase like.. Just a sine wave generator or something of the sort?
Is this thing a 1 output or does it also have an input? I find most DIY circuit bent synths almost totally pointless if you can't put anything cool into them, like a contact mic or regular microphone, let alone anything else. Still definitely cool, though!
@angelhair0 Well, that was three years ago, these days I most definitely use circuit bent odds and ends as sound sources, so no, not TOTALLY pointless, but then again a lot of synths do offer an input for further processing of external signal. And yet, behold! The original poster says the new BabyBox has an input. Good show. Now we have the best of both worlds.

go to ebay international -> musical instruments -> electronic instruments -> other and there you will find a lot of those circuit bent stuff haha.
