  • hollowing the cats works great

  • yo i like wat u did in da video starting at .44 seconds. dat jawn really sound like a lion breathing after eating a big meal. good shit cuz. 10 starz

  • So....Straight pipes ARE bad for the car....

  • I have a 1987 Mercury Cougar XR7 I just go some Straight pipes from the headers a flowmaster each and chrome tips how much horses extra should I expect?

  • Mane dat motherfucker sound great i cant wait 2 get mines lke dat

  • i hate to say it, but there is another reason why your car was getting bad gas milage, it's not because you got rid of the muffler. there's no sensors in the muffler, what ever happens after the cats, wont hurt the car. i mean if you wanted the car to be at its loudest, just cut off everything after the cats and leave it at that, still should run fine theoretically.

  • u cant cut off the cats with out the car running sloppy. is sucks dick, but unfortunaly these cars were made to run with cats. o2 senceors will be all screwed up, and the motor will have a tough time to adjust with out them.

  • ya it took a lil time for the computer to adjust with no mufflers.. at first of taking them off the gas was terrible but after about 3 - 5 days.. it adjusted to it and gotten better

  • @ezsoulja

My Check engine light still comes on once and awhile, with this setup If I accelerate hard it goes off after driving hard for about a day, but if I drive like a granny it comes on and it seems like I have an instant loss of power but only bearly noticable.

    Any idea's?

  • I just cut my mufflers off of my 02 P71 today and it lost a lot of power. Is this a temporary thing or is it permanent? I have a superchips programmer on it and I have underdrive pulleys and a K & N cold air intake to put on it.

  • @vega660 you can unplig the battery and it will reset the ecu and to get rid of the lights you can get o2 sim,s then it will run like new,,,,,,the same foe a air intake you have to reset the computer or it screws up for a week or two,,,,,

  • @vega660 if you get it tuned on a dyno with a sct it will run great without cats or mufflers,,,not if its stock computer

  • 4.6's don't do well without cats lol

  • yea mine is straight piped the same way. gets everyones attention

  • yesssir!

  • That's one great sounding 4.6

  • thanks man

  • You must of took all 4 of your Catalytic Converters out, cause that shit is loud as hell!!! Sounds good though man!!!

  • thats what pisses me off is that i have 4 cats lol.. but naw all 4 are on there.. just straight from there on

  • I was told two are cats and 2 are resonators.... I have no idea though. They both look like cats to me. I got flowtech red hots on mine and i like it. needs headers and new magnaflow direct fit cats though

  • @ezsoulja stock duals witht eh stock H-pipe and all 4 stock cats sound awesome, had that on my old 302 Crown Vic and i loved it, great sound from only cats and no mufflers, loved how it popped a bit as i got on it hard, wish i still had that car, i'm looking for another Crown Vic to mess with
