As the years roll on, this silly, initially ignored film is aging better & better. Madonna's performance is truly unhinged & not as self-concious as some of her later ones. It's just light fun & people can appreciate that better now. The soundtrack has always been a winner. Anything that captures NYC as it used to be before it got "refurbished" is worth watching in my book. She got slammed for her performance, but you can't deny the charisma.

I was 7 years old when this came out, I remember loving it as a kid, i remember thinking the cartoon Madonna at the start of the film was so cool.
