  • Wow! Way to use your noodle... make some heated boots for your gf :)

  • you rock, Mark!

  • WOW, I already suspected this, but now it's confirmed: Mark can do anything!! That is really cool. Great job Mark!!!

  • nice work! very well put together!

  • Dominant. Great device and all. But, I particularly enjoyed that you hacked down that tree, loaded it up in your jeep, and likely ran over myriad saplings and other flora on your way out of the woods. Take THAT, mother earth!

  • yo scheel, this is pretty sweet

  • Good job. I would somehow integrate a seat so you can get up on top of the crank and get some serious power.

  • Great job Mark! Well done.

  • very creative. Nice work Mark

  • Creative way to assemble a low cost generator. I could have used one of those during Hurricane Wilma a couple years ago!

p.s. Move over Al Gore. Here comes Mark.

  • Great job! Not only is this creative, it can change things. Point people in the right direction, rethink. Awesome!!!

  • Mark - this is brilliant! I saw you demonstrate this in Austin and it is even more compelling this time! Fun and relevant.

  • That's freakin' cool! "I can't feel my feet!"

  • Mark,

That rocked. I'm sorry I missed the demonstration at the RETS meeting. Glad you posted it online!

  • Nice job Mark, I love that you use your arms with it. Good use of recycled materials.

  • Simply outstanding!! Not only are you helping thin the forest to prevent forest fires (which we all know is needed here in Colorado) you've also provided an alternative MOBILE power source. Genius! I've purchased my permit from the USFS for the past five years to get the family Christmas tree. Be warned - the kids are going to want to borrow the generator next year! Great work.

  • An entertaining mix of science and humor. Congratulations Mark.

  • Funny, clever and inventive.

  • I saw this in Austin, it was incredible. He lit up a color changing light bulb during a presentation that mashed up real estate data and Google Maps/Earth.

I think the most impressive part is that its portable, how he got that into a suitcase and past airport security is beyond me.

I video taped his demo.. some day I will find it and post it.

  • Very cool Mark. Is it ironic though that you chopped down a tree to demonstrate your Earth Day project :)
