i was born and raised (and still live) in laketahoe......yeah sure the place is awesome if you have TONS of money to burn(but if you're goin south shores the best shore...north is 2nd best....and dont even bother with east or west those are almost worthless)

Take a ride around the lake then drive up Kingsbury Grade to the top of the Sierra Mountians, then down into the Carson Valley and have breakfast at Wally's Hot Springs. You won't regret it.

i live about an hour and a half away. u should check out Sand Harbor if your want to go where there are more rocks and you can jump of them at some points. if you wanna go to where its looks more like a beach with a flat surface go to Nevada Beach. and DEFINITELY dont forget to check out some of the cruises!
