  • Prague is an amazing, beautiful city! I visited it in 2002 and everything was so cheap, the food, the excellent beer, and of course the Bulgarian hookers!

  • my city, my food!:) hot dog and a beer, awsome!

  • Years ago i bought a hot dog for ~0.07 Euro (pre Euro time) in Prague and i didnt die!

  • mmmmmmmm.....soft and mushy wonderbread

  • "Street food"

    Translation? The best food.

  • How did the Soviet's oblterate Czech food?

The Turks ruled for over 600 years in Serbia and the Serbs still maintained their own ethnic cuisine along with the incorporation of many Turkish foods into their cuisine much like other countries which were ruled by the Ottoman Empire.

  • i Love this City...its my Dad`s Town....so nice

  • to taste REAL sausages, not the czech shit, you should take a trip to germany.

  • i agree alina bjb why has he not been in budapest yet to try the langos and all other cool things

  • I'm super happy that Bourdain came to Prague. I've been living here for about 1.5 years and have to say that the food is pretty nice, in a basic meat and potatoes sort of way.

That hot dog stand he went to is a good one and absolutely perfect after drinking all night.

Looking forward to his impression of duck, svickova, and lots of beer :)

  • Tony, give me a call...I am waiting.

  • I look forward to this episode too. Seems like this season there's more eating and less talk or play.

  • Hot Dogs in Czech Republic are so much better than in the US.They use fresh baked rolls, not soft and mushy "wonder bread"! And they only cost 50 cents (5 years ago I must add).

I am looking forward to see the whole hour of Bourdain in Prague!!!!!!! And I hope it's not gonna be "blame Soviets and Communism for everything what doesn't taste good"!

  • Everithing taste better outside of the usa, Iknow that very well.

  • Well, there are many "good tasting things" in the USA.(but I am not a fan of hotdogs in the States ) US population suffers from " TMCS--- Too Many Choices Syndrome". But it is a benefit of a free market! May the best win!!!

  • You are right there are many tasty things in USA like Indian food,Thai,Chinese,TMCS is a big problem in this "freedom",hehe. I'm going to see Jovi Feb 12 in Honolulu Hi, enjoy yours in Mainland ;) .

  • Feb 12th is around the corner!!! Have a great time ( and sing-along)!!! Can't wait to see BJ in the end of March!!!--------

I enjoyed watching Bourdain in Prague!!! I lived in CZ. Republic for 7years and it was fun to see Bourdain there!!! He was begging for spinach after eating pork for a week!!! Ha-ha!!!

  • you just haven't looked hard if you say that

  • @AlinaBJB

    Speak English, jesus christ

  • @AlinaBJB 50 crowns now, 2 euros :)

  • @expressssssssssss Those "parky v rohliku" Czech for Hot Dogs were 10 crowns. It was great and inexpensive street food, like Anthony Bordain calls it . But exchange rate 50 crowns=2 euros now is steep !!!

Thanks for your reply "expressssssssssssssss" !!! Happy New Year 2011 !!!!

  • @AlinaBJB Wtf did you go. I was in Prague for like 5-6 years ago and I think it cost 1-2 dollar for a hot dog. Prague is cheap when it comes to food and alcohol. Prague is either way one of my favorite eastern european cities. That may be because I went there with my ex-girlfriend and that trip is one of the best memories we had together. But hey, I would go there with friends to. Great resturants and cheap comparing to western european countries. Thank God for low taxes :D

  • Funny how they blur the beer @ 1:11 yet 1:29 is not

  • @GotKn1fe roflmao i didnt see that till i checked again well that's what you need to get a job as a film error watcher i loled when noticed the beer fook up WELDONE

  • Umm sausage party........

  • bourdain is the man!

  • Prague is absolutely goegeous. Can't wait for this.

  • Tony needs to hit Hungary....!

  • I must admit that food in Budapest was better than in Prague! I lived in CZech Republic for 7 years and had a great time visiting Budapest in Hungary.(The only unpleasant thing was that my husband and I were "asked to pay" 50 Euros for a "missing" paper by Hungarian border officers. Other than that we loved Budapest !!!Bourdain should visit and everyone else if you have a chance!!!

  • omg...i luv Czech Republic!!!!! i went to prague b4 and itz AWESOME!!
