what about solemn warning and knight of the red lotus? i also think marauding captain could help swarm a little bit better. I know he doesn't work with the crusader, but you could swap out the crusader for evocator chevalier and then turn it into a more warrior oriented deck. black brutdrago is another card you could throw into the side deck and then mind control and in the event that you take a tuner...? Idk it's just an idea

no one at my locals use lightsworn but loads use glad beast and i find it hard to stop gyzarus coming affect going and doing that again seeing as its only out for a turn before you can trade it in and if it comes out it can take out my 2500+ beatstick or backrow spell traps what card do you suggest against glad beast

@rossy2019 Well you can use My Body as a Shield, Summon Flip, or a new card in TSHD called Corridor of Suffering. It's a continuous spell which reads "Monster(s) Special Summoned from the Deck cannot activate their effects while face-up on the field, have their effects negated, and cannot attack."

maining starlight road, quite risky :x i usually just side them in on absolute zero or the very rare lightsworn build (i say that only because lightsworn is basically dead at my locals, not knocking sworns at all). But it is fun to set 3 backrow first turn and have them eventually heavy storm into starlight road :o

@MrAznCrusader Yeah I'm not a fan of Barbaros b/c he doesn't really do anything without Drain. He's not a light for Honest, or a Gemini for Spark. He'd basically be a dead card unless I had Drain out.

@TeamMinoritySPG but it's still a 19 beatstick and most decks can't really get over 19 beaters. you have some much defense and backfield to protect your monsters. you can clear their field or have a 3000 beater or 19. I don't think it's that useless. 2 skill drain for him and if you don't have a skill drain 1900 atk.

@MontressorsRevenge You trade one card for one other card. For example, I use Bottomless Trap Hole to destroy your summoned GB Laquari. I used one of my cards for one of your cards, thus it's a one for one. MST is also a one for one. Heavy Storm is usually a plus 1 or plus 2 b/c you use up one of your cards for 2 or 3 of their cards, thus you get a plus 2/3 off of it.

For Turret Warrior, Tribute Alius or Evocator and you have a 3100 ATK monster.

@wiithepeople2 Evocator could work in here, but with Honest I'd like to make sure that I have mostly Light Targets. Also, Evocator can't do anything to attack over high defense monsters, which you'll see plenty of this format.

They're wrong about the Dark Bribe dude, your negation lineup us perfect, I played the eatos variant of this last format but have been working on another build and I was almost where you are minus hero blast (nice tech definately testing it) I dnt play warrior lady and have gone up to triple book, just wna shut out cat game1. Nice build though man, by the way try swallow flip over mirror of oaths, I like the card a bit more.

@Ibzmosh I removed your extra comments b/c you made the same one 4 times =\. Swallow Flip is actually a good idea against Glads since it's a Counter Trap, and my opponent won't be able to use Trap Stun on it. I'll definitely test it out =P. Triple Book is good, but I have trouble finding room for it.

Hmm I wouldn't take out a smashing for a 2nd hero blast.. Smashing is a spell and hero blast is situational with only 2 targets.

@CrossoutFiend No I'm definitely not going to do that. I need to be able to take care of my opponent's Solemn, Cold Wave, Heavy, Dust, etc. Yes Bribe is a -1, but it won't matter as long as it helps you maintain your set-up.

Mirror of Oath in the board is pointless. Your gb's matchup is already ridiculously one sided and there are better things to side against cat.

Your deck has alot of conflicts in the main and side (DDWL + Skill Drain, Thunderking + searchers, Cyber Dragon + Oppression). And on top of that you are just siding "good cards". There is nothing wrong with redundancy, but allowing your deck to handle different situations is a must.

You also have no finishers in the main if your opponent stabilizes.

@prothico I take it you haven't tried the deck for yourself. There's only 1 DDWL and 2 Skill Drain in the deck, so I'm almost always going to be able to get DDWL off. Rai-Oh's ability to stop special summons is more important than stopping my opponent's searches, and since that ability still works under Skill Drain there's no conflict there. Obviously you use Cyber Dragon to your advantage by summoning him when you don't have Oppression or you tribute for him if needed.

@prothico Games 2/3 vs GBs is a hard match-up b/c they remove dead cards such as War Chariot for Dusts, Trap Stuns, etc. Game 1 is easy against them, but they can have their way games 2/3. Blackwings are a hard match-up b/c they play around Oppression and Drain very easily (they main oppression, and side drain), and Icarus Attack can disrupt setups.

The side deck is definitely a work in progress (it was quickly thrown together). Make sure you read the report, and test the deck for yourself.

@kaworu777n Pot will only work in decks that get 5 monsters to the grave really fast, and this deck doesn't do that. It'll be fine in Flamvell Synchro, Lightsworn, Synchro Cat, etc. but with only 15 total monsters here it won't work. It would only be 14 if you count DDWL removing itself from play. For Beckoning, I'd rather not drop my entire hand just to get it off. I want to keep my spells/traps for when I need to play them.
