  • I feel im on paradise

  • i have a flashback of my life when i listen this awesome music. i love it so much so much. i dont have words 2 descrive it +.+

  • well vocally they both took ideas from jeff buckley and interpreted it their way

  • soulfull...damn,.the rythm and vocal are so into my mind

  • Just the strummed acoustic part sounds a bit similar to "Exit Music", otherwise what's the big deal?

  • @manco82 its a cover of their own song ...

  • @tdrider2008 It's a re-imagining of Hyper Music, not a cover.

  • @manco82 thats what I meant I just didnt feel like changing my post

  • Absolutley brilliant....beautiful.

  • Check out Five Minutes Til Bedtime's Live cover of Hyper Chondriac here @ their official channel! Subscribe if you like!

  • Has another artist covered this? It sounds very familiar

EDIT: Nevermind it's a slow version of Hyper music lolol

  • @davemcq lmao, thats funny.

  • Has another artist covered this? It sounds very familiar

  • seriously... what an epic sound !!

  • For God sakes Muse is not Radiohead !

  • Have not heard this Muse song until I came across this youtube.com/watch?v=gyt75_-BXDs&NR=1 earlier...very sad what meth does to people

  • Wow, they were really inspired by Radiohead. It almost sounds like Exit Music for A Film. I guess it is either a sample or cover. I lean towards sample, but they have their own style. It is like Paranoid Android mixed in with Exit Film with a hint of muse in there. Not the most original, but great talent, though.

My personal opinion, but radiohead is better :)

  • @winrar88

Music is all about influence. Muse and Radiohead were influenced in the right way, while the people on the radio were influenced the wrong way.

  • @winrar88

Man, it took me a while to respond. But anyways, Radiohead is a influence from Pink Floyd, The Beatles, and some Jazz....while being their own sound. Have you seen the evolution of Radoihead, from Pablo Honey to King of Limbs? These guys are truly respectable artist. And Muse the band has agreed that they draw heavy influences from Radiohead. Still, great band. This song is also killer. I'm just point out the obvious, bud.

  • @aijunk2

Hey buddy, there's no problem with that. You should take your time if needed. It's always wise to do some reasearch before opening your mouth in order to not look like a fool.

  • @winrar88

And why are you standing up for Muse? When their sound is influenced by Radiohead. And you can't deny that both bands have talent. And again, its called INFLUENCE! Radiohead has changed their sound frequently, because they get tired of doing the same thing over and over again, so they look for different influences.

  • @aijunk2

Read again, buddy. I don't disagree with your little thesis at all. Of course every musician/band must be inspired by others in some way. I can attest to that personally, since I play music myself. And it's basically impossible not too draw "INFLUENCE" from something else. So you were just stating the obvious for me.

  • @winrar88

So we can agree that BOTH bands are good? Seriously, these two artist are some of the best i've seen the last 20 years. They remind me a lot of the Smiths, not how their music was, but on how good they were. And respectably, I can say that these two bands were probably influenced by the Smiths.

  • @aijunk2

Sure, anyone can agree with that assertion. So there's no need for such an inane rhetorical question here. It's evident to see these bands are "good" and succesful at what they do, both on a commerical and critical level. Any reasonable intelligent person should concede with that regardless of whether they enjoy the particular music or not.

  • @winrar88

What you say is the truth. By any chance, are you a music critic? If not, please consider going into that field. I do not want to play the game of "kissing up to your ass" here, but you are fare more intellectual person than I am, when it comes to music. I do know a lot myself, but I do have time to grow to your level.

  • I once nearly broke down into tears while listening to this song. I was a bit broken down and the girl i wanted (my present girlfriend) had another boyfriend, and when you combine those with this song... shit guys, i just pulled it out of my ears and changed song. Couldn't start sobbing on open street.

  • This should be the soundtrack to a british zombie/horror film

  • @Deadstar1983 wow. Shrinking universe was already used sorry...

  • @EliteBlackTech 28 weeks later, great film

  • Brilliant.

  • The 0 dislikes better stay 0 forever, cuz muse dominates!!!

  • @donnatrannadelee

I absolutely love muse, my fav band ever and always will be. I just disliked it because of your comment :). K thnx bai.

  • @donnatrannadelee Sorry man, turns out Justin Beiber just watched this video. T_T

  • Une pure merveille !

Une des plus belles chansons du groupe , un diamant !!

  • Why was this a B-side!?!?

  • @potzahasee01

They originally intended to put this on Origin of Symmetry but it was too slow... so they ended up with Hyper Music

  • epic o;

  • Incredible stuff. So emotional. Why can't they play this live!?!

  • @Philliesgirl1216 omg i agree

  • that chorus at the end gets me every time

  • Friday afternoon, walking home from school, sun's out, this on my iPod. Everything is good.

  • Hyper music was my favorite Muse song until i heard this....this song was made for me and literally sings to my soul....<3 Muse

  • this song makes me cry and brings me shivers at the same time, not even Beethoven did that...

  • o damn...i thought this was live for a second. sadness ensues.

  • this song is just chill, scary, and intense..

  • wow, this is insane. Hyper Music is such a pump-me-up song and this is it's opposite... I can't believe it but Matt Bellamy did it again =)

  • Calling Bellamy a genius is stupid.

No words to describe this man's talent.

  • Wow. Hyper Music is my absolutely favorite song from Muse and of all time. But this was unbelievable. I didn't want this song to end. What an amazing piece of music.

  • love love love *_*

  • 0 dislikes! First time I've seen a Muse song 125 to 0... Loving it, this song is absolutely amazing. If you take a brilliant Muse song and slow it way down you still get brilliance!

  • chills chills and more chills

indescribable what this music does to me.........

  • @ani018 You should probably see a doctor about that.

  • every time I hear that siren sounding effect at the beginning I want to scream "MUSE!!! HELL YEAH!!"

  • ▬▬▬

    MUSE

    ▬▬▬

  • This song really makes me cry.

  • @LjabundSjab ditto. the ending chorus gets me every time.

  • This is one of the most amazing songs I've ever heard, Matt bellamy, you are a genius. Its so full of wmotion, it sort of carries you along on your feelings.

  • awesome 91 person like this & no one dislike.

thank u for such beautiful songs !<3

  • io penso che la voce di matt sia unica al mondo

  • this is so damn beautiful :(..

  • isnt this just hyper music slowed down?

  • @lcrcl

    ???? are you deaf?

    of course is not

  • @HyperMuser243

its the same lyrics and notes with a different feel. the guitar is also different.

  • @lcrcl yes it is the same lyrics and stuff from hype music. hyper music is supposed to represent the anger he has. and hyper chondriac represents the pain. saw it in a interview

  • @TandBcomedycreators that's a difficult position for a girl: if you were the Bellamy's gf and you knew that if you dump him he's going to compose Hyper Music and Hyperchondriac Music in his (first) rage and (later) pain, would you dump him for the good of the human kind, even knowing that once you listen to these songs you'd want to crawl back to his feet and beg him to have all his babies and then he'd ignore you and he'd be dating a gorgeous blonde instead?... hmmmm... dilemma hahaha :)

  • Does anyone agree that this song evokes a "Wicked Game" vibe, especially in the beginning part?

  • @manco82 YES, i knew i recognised the feeling the first few chords gave me

  • even being a b side is too much better than hits from other bands

    muse just fucking rock!!!

  • OMG cette chanson me donne des frissons! SO.... WOW! Ö

  • Listen to this song while watching the videoclip (no sound) from the original Hyper Music... Heh.

  • its hard for me to understand how few people have heard this work of genius the emotions that are stirred inside when i heard this perfectly played song are hard to describe. Mathew Bellamy is amazingly articulate. another gd one is micro cuts

  • wow beautiful... it makes me cry... muse always make my heart dance, and this version of the song is just... aaaaaaw :-*

  • trop belle chanson!!!

  • Yes, I totally agree!! He is a genius in music!

  • This is my favourite track from Hullabaloo, so haunting and beautiful

  • Well, like nearly every one else, I think this is probably my favorite song in the universe right now. So much feeling and power, I feel like my head will explode...

  • Sometimes I'll just turn off all the lights in my room, lay in the dark and just blast this song on my stereo and just get lost in the song. It's soooo beautiful! My most favourite Muse song!!

  • and so does your judgement!

  • I agree, it is just so relaxing, but it is also the by far saddest song ive ever heard. And it just hurts listening to it, if youre depressed in any way, still great song

  • @Sh0wBiZ94-------so do i lol ure right so relaxing :P

  • Why da HELL don´t they play this magnificent song live!? One of their absolute best ever, pure epicness the purest of pure.

  • it's the most beautiful and the most faithfull song in the world... idon't give a fuck on any other band .. they are the best and i can't listen to other music anymore because nothin is as good as muse <3

  • this song always stuns me with how brilliant it is, i will always love Muse.

  • i got the shivers when i listen to this...

  • @mgneox555 I did too hehe

  • When I listen to my song I seriously think my speakers will explode by the extreme feeling in this song. At least my heart does.

  • when im mad i put this song

    all the volume up

and just lay in my bed

    so relaxing....

  • This is one of my all time favourite songs. I haven't heard it in a couploe of years. Something about it just hits in the gut, its amazing and I feel really lucky to have rediscovered it again.

  • i gotcha

but this new album isnt so much about energy, its about the messages they send; muse has always been very outspoken about their conspiracy theories; but this is the first album where they really compose about it. Uprising and Resistance basically say that we shouldnt take our govt's bs and stand up and fight. Not to mention the song MK Ultra, if u dont know what it is, look it up, its some messed up shit, that the government covered up- hence the lyric How much deception can u take

  • no i understand

the resistance is probably my fav album i love every song and even though there arent hard and full of energy

i really love the songs cuz they do all have a message as you say and

their all great songs like exogenesis i mean

all i can say is wow

    love the album

  • Resistance is a love song.

  • it's about the main characters in the book 1984 (correct me if Im wrong, im pretty sure tho) and its also about politics in some way. Gotta read the book now and find out lol :P

  • Yeah, 1984 was the first thing I thought when I heard the song too.

  • @marvelfan281

    It's about 1984. Matt said. :P

  • One of their best songs.

  • Agree

  • This has one of my favorite guitars solos ever in it.

  • piano at the beginning sounds beautiful

  • I'm obesessed with this song!!

it had been going on for 5 months! I cannot stop listening to it. I think so so beautiful and powerful

  • I love both Hyper music and Hyper chondriac music. They're both intense, each in their own way. As usual I am in awe of Muse for coming up with two versions of the same song that sound so different yet are both amazing.

  • 4:15,reminds me of something, just can't think of it. The world ending?

    Beautiful song.

  • i have that same feeling with this song...

  • Aaaahhhhhh,I love this song.Matt's soooooooo intense when he sings, love it!!! Thanx for sharing!!

  • well then, which one do ya prefer?? Hyper music or Hyper chondriac music????

  • I love Hyper chondriac,I like the music,the voice,it's soooooooo intense!!!! :D

  • Hyper Chondriac Music for sure!!!!

  • Yeah me too!!! so trippy, so epic, so intense soooooooo sexy!

  • Couldnt have said it any better!!! and yess very sexy! Muse is sexy!

  • probably hyper music, but that's only because I prefer more fast paced music. But this is good too.

  • i think i prefer hyper music

i really do like this version still

but i love the intensity that hyper music has and the raw energy

i like ongs like that becuase muse doesn make songgs like hyper music anymore

with alot of energy and screaming

  • @KingAdrock909 so your saying that songs like stockholm syndrome and knights of cydonia dont have energy?

  • NO

im talking about in the new album

not like its a bad thing i like the slow songs muse makes such as resitance

the only song that comes close to KOC or stockholm is unnatural selection

  • Comment removed

  • now thats a fucking natural high!! mmmmmmmmmuse

  • this is truly what you call talent

  • Oh my gosh, I just love it. Matt sings with a huge passion... I feel so bad and strange when I listen to it.

    I can't describe it!

    I love hyper music too!

    W MUSE!

  • I love it! I will in Bologna on november at their next concert!!!!!! Tomorrow I'm going to buy the ticket, ooh yeah LET'S ROCK

  • damn, I like to go to Turin but I can't!

    :'(

  • i really love this song, but i dont think its better than hyper music. the same lyrics, yet two completely different songs and meanings. BEAUTIFUL! i love all the background effects, and wen the guitar kicks in; takes my breath away...

  • This is brilliant - lovely! I just can't understand why this put my friend off muse!

  • ▬▬▬

    MUSE

    ▬▬▬

copy and paste this in MUSE related movies :D

  • A really great song. Its good that they keeped the same lyrics and melody at some point and still made it very different from the original.

  • deeeeeeep!

  • this song is so beautiful... There is no words to describe that I feel when I listen this song... MUSE !

  • matt bellamy is truley amazing how he can just change the song completely but have the same sort of ring to it...... its hard to explain but this guy is amazing my only idol

  • I showed my relatives (aunties and uncles, etc.) this song, and they cried.

Truely beautiful song, and I'm not the corny type.

  • Man, I've always loved this song.

With this version though, you can truthfully get the meaning behind the lyrics :]

*Has hit replay more times than she can count*

  • lovvvvveee this song!

    ▬▬▬

    MUSE

    ▬▬▬

    muse rules (the world :P)

  • This song is incredible, I will always love it.

  • @MuseOnMyMind

Ironic comment. Thats the golden lie. You won't "always" love it because one day you will die. It is what the whole song is about.

People have said the song was provoked when his girlfriend broke up with him. If true, I wonder if she asked him if he loved her and he said "no". If so, the lyric explains clearly as to why he said "no". If anything it is probably one of the most deepest forms of love, which the slow music exemplifies the tragedy.

    Hyper Chondriac = Hypochondriac

  • is that... acousting guitar i hear?!

  • Why yes, yes it is

  • i love the bass in this song..will they ever play this live?probably not, they don;t even play the original nowadays. too bad though

  • i know its such a shame they never seem to play the really old stuff anymore especially the b sides

  • absolutely amazingly beautifully brilliant! i remember i actually didn't realise it was the same song till i listened thru again. i cant give words on how epic this song is imo.

  • which came out first??

    Hyper music or Chondriac?

  • Hyper Music, Hpper Chrondria music came out after the Hullabaloo gig in Zenith, and during the hullabaloo was origin of symmetry :)

  • does anyone know whether this band is atheist or what? 'thoughts of a dying atheist' makes me think perhaps they are/were

  • Matt said that he doesnt practice a certain religion but when asked, he said that he doesnt consider himself an athiest.

  • uuur ya matt believes theres no god but he says hes not an atheist, he thinks you go somwhere when you die

  • Brilliant song!

I agree with all of you, Muse are awesome, no matter what mood, there's a song to suit.

Looking forward to the new album next year :) (if it gets released next year)

  • WHAT AULBULM!!! PLZ REPLY!!

  • The new album they're making, Dom said they have already a few tracks down, but they're gonna work on some more and refine them in the studio.

Really depends on whether they feel ready to release it. If not, late 2009. Might probably get a single before the album launch like Plug in baby with Origin of Symmetry.

  • wow thx, but late 2009, bit long aint it, were did u find out

  • Erm an interview i think, Dom said they have a few tracks written and recorded. But I hope it gets released next year :) Would like to hear some more muse and more B-SIDES this time lol

  • i know this sounds stupid but wots a b side is it an aucastic version or somthin cos i dont know lol

  • A B-side are usually an extra track supporting the main track (the A-Side). It's like buy one get one free lol Extra material from the band, but in the last album in the singles, some B-sides were remixes and a live track and we only got like 2-3 proper B-side songs like Easily, Crying Shame, Glorious etc. :)

  • right thx

  • how do you get the b sides disc?

  • i dont know but this track is on the second hullabaloo disk, the last track, its so fucking epic, and remembaral

  • Think its just like a song which they like but feel it isnt good enough to go on a album or something like that i duno lol thats my best guess

  • u cant rush genius. Anyway, they have alot to live up to with their previous almums. its not often that i come across an album that i can comfortably listen to all the tracks in without wanting to reach for the next track button, but with muse, i could listen to every song they have done so far (cept maybe 1) without wanting to skip any

  • wots the 1 u cant listen to, super massive black hole????

  • no, i love SMBH, unintended is what i skip sometimnes because l ove uno so much :P although, dont get me wrong, i like unintended.

  • kwl ;)

  • actually thats bullshit, i was thinking off the top of my head - agitiated is the song i dont like. and the only song.

  • with muse there is a song for every mood, they are just amazing, i wish they would hurry up and release there new album !

  • very beautiful song, I agree with Foronaga, it depends on the mood. Hyper Music is amazing as well.

  • My favorite song "en accoustique" (xD), just wonderfull :') !

  • the most beautiful side b by muse

  • his voice sounds great! but i prefer hyper music

  • @eternityscharm

I think it's a matter of your mood. If you feel like chilling out then this is awesome!

But for pure rock I'd go with Hyper Music. Both songs are in my top Muse songs ever.

    =)
