She barely escaped the explosion....the whole incident is a story not many Americans know about.655 occured 5 months before the Pan Am 103 bombing. 103 might've been revenge for 655....Its ugly stuff.

Two ships were sunk and 117 sailors were lost that day.
Or the worst friendly fire incident in history almost toward the end of war in Europe when the RAF sunk three concentration ships carrying Jewish and Allied POWs, killing 8,000 of them.
