The iranians may not have sophisticated equipment but If i Was in a carrier and say about 100 speedboats all armed with explosive and basokas approached my ship i would surely be concerened. All it takes is one hole to sink a ship you know. Since then persian missles have improved alot.

There is nobody else in that region (including the "friendly seas") that operates aircraft carriers. US are the only ones, and maybe UK. But those planes parked on the ship do not look like an British aircraft. They look like F-18's.
