  • Run Forrest Run

  • He was indeed the greatest coach of all time.

  • well.. if it was true it would still be true aaannnnddddddd i wouldnt care because it would have come from some idiot on youtube. get off me kid

  • As the Bear would say whenever Bama would tie, "A tie is like kissing your sister."

Which is legal in the state of Alabama

  • @superjasonk89 How would you like it if I talked like that about your grandfather or grandmother you jackass?!

  • The best Coach and man ever was Tennessee's General Robert Neyland!! Paul Bryant teams played General Neyland's teams seven times. General Neyland's Tennessee teams won all seven!!! Bryant never beat the General......

  • @coryross061054 The difference is that Coach Bryant's winning legacy continues at Alabama while Tennessee can't beat their own meat. Even the short-lived Fat Phil "glory days" over Bama are over. Actually, he only coasted through the Tide's santion years looking pretty good, taking all the credit and enjoying the praise, but was run out of town in shame and bawling like a newborn baby as soon as Bama rebounded. I wouldn't trade Bryant's legacy for Neyland's ever.

  • he was a "god"

  • @KEITHMAN28796 He was Satan and you will go to hell for saying that!! Are you that stupid to think this piece of shit is god!

  • @Keithattal5 I'm not saying he was god and hes not satan but wait oh I see you just pick on al fans cause we have a awseome coach alright alright

  • @KEITHMAN28796 This man was a complete evil person! Who would a young man that was practicing and broke his back, to either play or go home? I would say an animal that did this is a complete heartless evil demon! Wouldn't you?

  • @Keithattal5 NO!!!!!!!

  • @KEITHMAN28796 Well than that makes you a very heartless, classless human being! End of story, it says alot about what kind of people follow, and think this man is great!

  • @Keithattal5 ok listen if you had to sit by your best friend an watch him fadeaway to cancer youd know what having a heart means I have a heart when my best friend died I thought that anybody who didnt cry even if they didnt know him has no heart you sir have no fucking heart

  • @KEITHMAN28796 WAR EAGLE Auburn 7-1 at Tuscaloosa! LMAO!

  • @Keithattal5 uh idiot alabama has barely won at tuscaloosa so your stupid and read the comment below yours myy friend is dead

  • @KEITHMAN28796 LMAO!! Whatever!

  • @Keithattal5 ok fine but when you burn in hell rember my friend and I

  • @Keithattal5 Typical Aubarn moron, so much disrespect, but what else could I expect from you?? I mean you're part of the barn nation, poor fellow.

  • he was born in Morrow Bottom, Arkansas. not kingsland

  • Bear Byrant was the greatest ever.Woody Hayes was close but Bear was better

  • im bear bryants cousin

  • @999redneckgirl: wow, no one likes a name dropper. even if you are in fact bear bryant's cousin, no one cares. you're not the greatest ncaa coach ever.

  • Comment removed

  • @999redneckgirl: well perhaps if you didn't go around making unsubstantiated claims that no one really cares about either way, you wouldn't have someone saying something back about it, so i guess that means you ruined your own day.

  • mmmh i love me some bear. There is not a day i dont think to myself "bear has gotten alabama where it is today" LOVE YA BEAR

  • there are men . then theres the MAN.

  • ROLL TIDE, Bear would have loved how his guys played, tonight.

  • music? anyone know what it is

  • requim for a dream

  • Lux Aeterna

We use it in our pregame video.

  • no but its the music played during the highlight reel played before each game in tuscaloosa

  • Hey Tide Fans Flag "PaulBryantFaggots "videos so we can get his l him off this thing because he had a pic and he was pissing on the bear im a Tennessee Fan but that still makes me mad as fuck 4 pisssing on a great SEC coach so whos in?

  • Dude. The 'Faggot is just a troll with a brain disorder. Leave him alone. He is fun to mess with.

  • just a mad disorderly troll thats jealous this coach had more champion ships than his team will ever have

  • what is the title to the song

  • requim for a dream

  • Is that not just a really stupid observation or what? What a dumb comment.

  • I find it rather odd your faggot name is appearing on every paul bryant video on here.. did he beat your ass as a child and you cant get his image out of your mind?

  • Hard work, dedication, and pride....... That is what Bear stood for. Not just a good teacher of the game of football but a great teacher in the game of life.

    ROLL TIDE !

  • There's old PBFaggot again. The "faggot extrodinaire" himself. The one who needs a life so bad he's willing to spend hours and hours on the computer slanderizing anything Bama when he should be searching for a way to better himself - maybe a getting a job, spending quality time with his family or something. How sad & pitiful. It is ironic that this poor jerk needs so desperately to heed the very lessons about becoming a worth while adult that Coach Bryant taught his young players so well.

  • O.o Wow your whole youtube paige is devoted to hating Paul bryant and Bama.

    Uncalled for.

  • Hey have you guys seen my video where I piss on bear bryant? Its pretty good. Roll fags.

  • ur sad dude the guys dead and u cant get over that he won 6 times more championships than aubrn so ur going to be an ass to one of the greatest football coach ever who was also a good christian man talk about no life at all

  • No, but I did see the one where a homeless drunk was pissing on your mother.

  • Wow seriously im 1 of the bigest Tennessee Vol fans ull ever meet and we all kno the schools hate each other but the Bryant is still 1 of the best coachs 2 have lived i may be a rival but i still have as much respect 4 Paul "Bear" Bryant as a Tide fan so idk what the hell ur problm is hating him so much but whatever no1 cares what u think R.I.P Paul the SEC will never be the same with out you

  • Nu thin but a winner!!!! IF you ain't just a bunch of excuses es . Hewas ahard ass thats what kids like my self neeeeeddded.

  • The greatest coach to have ever lived.

  • In Alabama an atheist is someone who does not believe in BEAR BRYANT

  • my moms uncle knew "Bear" Bryant

  • Paul "Bear" Bryant and General Robert Neyland. I wish thos legendary coachs came at the same time it wouldve been the Best 3rd Saturday Of Octobers ever. all i kno is without them SEC football just wouldnt be were it is 2 day so as far as im concerd Tennessee and Bama will always be the leaders in SEC football

  • aw4au12, look kid try Nick Saban bringin in the top class for the second year straight and working on another, Auburn is trash and has a coach no1 has ever heard of Gene Chizit wtf? Hes trash and Auburns trash, I'm thinkin a repeat from last year 36-0 kid, and Auburns got no tradition whatsoever... Roll Tide But Bears still the man..

  • Gives me chills every time I watch it... Ive never seen him coach a game but when my dad takes out the ol tapes I can tell he was truly amazing, 6 national titles wow and he did all that with a downfalling team.. Roll Tide, R.I.P Bear, I remember you as bein a winner...

  • The greatest college coach ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • love the music!

  • oooohhhh ccccchhhhiiiilllllssssss!!! lol I WILL ALWAYS LOVE BEAR!

  • 1951 Sugar Bowl

    Kentucky Wildcats only national championship.

    Thank You Bear.

  • Tennessee?

In 1950-51 UK defeated Bud Wilkinson's #1 ranked Oklahoma Sooners in the Sugar Bowl. OU was declared the national champions that year in every poll anyway... except in the Sagarin Rankings, which declared us national champs, and gave us our only National Title recognition.

Tennessee wasn't even in the picture.

  • 1:21 omg thats the first time ive ever seen the " bear" smile lol

  • One hell of a man and coach...

  • @wilburhog Absolutely correct one hell of a classless piece of shit demon!!

  • BAMA NEEDS BEAR!

  • What song is this playing, this really good music?

  • RIP great uncle! i wish i would have had the honor of meeting u!

and anyone who doesnt believe me can kiss my ass i have one of his jackets he wore during one of his playoff games sitting in my closet

  • You liar he never Coached playoff game.

  • I wish the fuck*** barners would actually win a NC someday so their fag asses would have some decent videos of their own to watch and stay the hell of BAMAS!!! But hell that wont happen ..LOL BARNEYS WIN A NC WTF WAS I THINKIN

  • Wasnt he a coach at texas A&M

  • "Wrong Simpson!Everytime young Flowers run he runs for his daddy. Don't you make me lose this game because of you being stupid, son!" From the Alabama vs Tennessee playoff game. A T.V. movie was cast from this historical game and events leading up to it. Richmond Flowers played for Tennessee after Gov.Wallace put his daddy (attorney General) in jail which offended young Richmond Flowers. So he quit Alabama and went to play for Tennessee and won the championship playoff game.

  • Well Devinesp, in the words of Bear himself "At Alabama our players do not win Heisman Trophies, our teams win national championships".

  • "It gives me great pleasure to present our winning trophy to Coach Ara Parseghian Notre Dame"--here lies the Bear....323 victories, but, but, he never beat the IRISH! More Heismans and National Titles than any other school.

  • Well Devinesp...In the words of Bear himself "At Alabama our players do not win Heisman Trophies, our teams win national championships".

  • Best Man and Best Coach ever. Not just for Alabama but all the teams he coached he did an AMAZING job.RIP Bear Bryant,We all MISS YOU!

    Roll Tide Roll

  • RIP Coach Bryant, you were more than just a winner.

  • tell me this would you rather have been good 30 years ago or be good today?

  • Tell us this, aubie, what's it like not have have been good 30 years ago OR ever?

  • since 2003 we are 42-9 .... pretty good if u ask me

  • I would rather be known as one of the Top 5 programs ever.

You say good today. Are you really that good? You have 1 SEC championshipship in the last 10 years. You have ZERO National championships. Auburn could NEVER bring in a top recruiting class because you are Auburn. You will get passed up for national title games because you are Auburn. I will give you credit for the streak but at least go out a win something other than that so everyone can actually respect you.

  • It's pretty funny now all those top 5...top 8(around that range) programs aren't any good today, Penn State, Notre Dame, Michigan, Bama, Florida State, Ohio State(ohio state isn't any good when they face real competition.) Since 2004 Auburn's had a Sugar bowl win, Capitol one bowl win, Chick fila bowl win (pretty good, what's bama had?) In 50 years the top college football programs will be different it won't have bama or any of those other pathetic teams in it anymore.

  • Oh yeah if people don't respect auburn then why are they predicted to win the west and make a sugar bowl appearance this year?

  • Guys, just cut the barners loose. They spend most of their time flaming Bama forums and watching Bama videos. You have to have some sort of tradition in order to be able to respect tradition, or a man like Coach Bryant. I guarantee you every one of these barners know more about Coach Bryant than they do Coach Jordan (whom I also have a lot of respect for). It is just sad for their own team.

  • Everyone critisizes bama for talking about the past. If you can't be proud of what you have done, then why play the damn game? Yes, we hope for a better future, but those who complain we "live in the past," well at least we have one. We win! Those who complain are just jealous and wish they had a past. And by the way Kentucky has a bluezillion SEC basketball championships. Instead of being jeolous, just give people credit when the work harder than you and deserve respect.

  • This is a video about Coach Bryant, so why are gay ass auburn fans commenting. Enjoy that 51 year national championship drought bitches. Number 13 coming soon. RTR

  • all u bama fans can bost about is your past.. not about the present which is really what matters

  • yes that era has ended...that was a time when you could smoke, drink, and cuss on the field, and make real players,...these candy-ass football players today wouldn't know what hit 'em if a coach told them the real truth!!Get over yourself, you're not a superstar,loser,..

  • Hey Auburn fans.......THE BEAR LIVES!

  • oh and if we had real players today instead of these "superstar" posers,we could have championship teams now,but how do you coach individuals...

  • at least we got a past au-bums

  • i could really care less if auburn had 12 national championships ... ive already gotten over the 13-0 season in 2005

  • he was the best coach of the modern era.woody hayes his friend affirmed that on his history show in columbus.rip bear rip woody go bucks

  • Hey Auburntigers62, we might live in the past, BUT ATLEAST WE HAVE ONE. Im sick and tired of every single auburn fan saying we live in the past. Dont get pissed because auburn has nothing to look back too. Bear Bryant is the greatest coach to ever walk mthe sideline. ROLLLLLL TIDDDDEE

  • BamaSlamma22: Ummm, lessee.... One national championship, screwed out of another, 2 Heisman trophy winners, second most active players in the NFL, 4 undefeated teams since 1957, six sec championships since 1982, 16 wins over Alabama in the last 25 years and six in row. Yeah, I think we have a past. We just like to put it behind us every once in a while and look to the future. War Eagle!!!

  • the difference btw Auburn's history and the University of Alabama is displayed perfectly by you bobbybattier...there are Auburn's stats(tee ball) vs Alabama(Major League). Auburn's National Title game is playing Alabama, that is as big as it gets for the barn. Fear the SABAN!!

  • Seriously?? u wanna look to the future?? Try No.1 recruting class in the nation.Should have thought that one through.RTR.Oh for any au fan that says disrespectful things about Paul Bear Bryant, ur a piece of shit. He was a great man and a close friend of my Grandfather and my family. If u wanna talk future, history or academics for that matter plz just say so cause bama beat u 10 times outa 10 every time.RTR

  • WOW I'm impressed. Your quite the statistion. Here's some you might find interesting:

21 SEC Championships (Most in the SEC)

51 Bowl Appearances (Most All Time)

30 Bowl Wins (Most All Time)

    92 All-Americans

797 All Time Wins (7th All Time)

Oh yeah almost forget 12 National Championships

Yeah we have a helluva alot more to be proud of than Auburn will ever have.

BTW one more little stat for ya. No team in the SEC past or present has a winning record against us.

  • if bear bryant is the best eddie robinson is the best colleGe coach of all time simply because he did it when all the black talent played at black colleGes and for that reason thats why bear won the Games he won. even at the end of his career durinG inteGration there werent many black players in the sec

  • It's actually 11 recognized titles, but I agree with you Bama has a much deeper tradition of excellence than Auburn. As ranked by the CFDW the top 5 all-time programs are 1. Notre Dame 2. Alabama 3. USC 4. Michigan 5. Oklahoma They used overall win pct. overall strength of schedule pct. National Championships, and Big Four Bowl Game Wins to tabulate the rankings 6. Texas 7. Ohio State 8. Nebraska 9. Tennessee 10. LSU 21. Auburn
  • I was gonna make a post on here but I think that says it all. that actually should have been the last post b/c there's not much left to say after that hahaha

oh, and we also lead the Iron Bowl series 38-33-1. ROLL TIDE!!!!!

  • Where can I get one of those plaid 'Heedle-deedle" hats he wore?

  • where can i get one of those shit recruting classes??

  • MAN BEAR BRYANT WAZ DA BEST

  • Bear Bryant and Paterno are both icons of college football... but their is just no one that can replace Bear Bryant....he was the greatest. This vid sends chills down my spine... you can feel how Bear Bryant was a God.

    Roll Tide!!!!!!!!!!!

  • God, are you serious, get a life.

  • Bear played under coach Frank Thomas at Alabama. Thomas played under Knute Rockne at Notre Dame. Bear installed his Rockne' offense (Notre Dame box) when he coach briefly at Union College. Thomas was a gruff coach as well who worked his boys hard as well as his previous predecessor, Wallace Wade who coached Alabama to the first National Championship in 1925. Wade played at Brown and was a teammate of Fritz Pollard.

  • Rockne had a better overall winning percentage, plus here lies the Bear, 323 wins but, he never beat the Irish! ND is 5-1 all time against the Tide, plus the Tide has 0 Heisman trophy winners!

  • I didn't see anything about Rockne on here. Did I miss something? Nice season by the way. I thought ND was going to run the table, but they slipped up and won a couple.

  • 66, 73 ring a bell?

  • at least he played bowl games back then.

  • A great man and coach. However I believe Joe Paterno is the greatest. Many of Paterno's teams of the 60's, 70's and 80's had no right playing for undefeated seasons and national titles. Paterno made them overachieve.

  • On his best day, Paterno pales in comparison to Coach Bryant. A great coach, yes...A leader of men, yes...A legend, yes. But Coach Bryant is the original, the one they all aspired to be like, but they have all fallen short of his accomplishments. Some have won more games, none will ever win as many hearts.

  • Joe Pa is loved and respected among the coaching fraternity, and even among Alabama fans, but there is simply no comparison to Coach Bryant. There will never be another like him.

  • Im gonna have to disagree with you on that one. The Bear is the greatest man to set foot on Bryant-Denny Stadium

  • yea plus joe pa can't drink as much

  • Awesome vid....Rolltide!

  • SUPER !!!

  • Can you tell me how I can save this and transfer it to a disc for my 11 year old son We are born and bred Alabama fans from Bessemer Al I now live in Montgomery and my son is on you tube every day looking at the alabama videos.

  • he came to one of my h.s. games in 1980 at ladd stadium, i drop a td catch and found out he was at the game, man i cried for a week, join the marines later go figure.
