@iDECEPTIONX HAHA Sorry in advance but you're retarded. This is not a Texture as you can play as Luigi and this is NOT Super Mario Galaxy 2, it's the original super mario galaxy. To get green stars in Super Mario Galaxy 2 you have to get every other star in the game. Green stars only appear when you collect 121 stars, then you have to collect over 50 Green Stars.

You're obviously a Super Mario Galaxy Noob.

@briLady7 What game are you talking about now? No the green stars don't have a different purpose here i'll try to explain:

Super Mario Galaxy 1: There are only 3 green stars in the game. Luigi gives you one and the other 2 are hidden. Once you get all 3 you'll unlock the trial galaxies. When you get all stars as mario then you must collect all the stars again with Luigi. When you do you'll unlock the last galaxy (for both Mario and Luigi), Grand Finale Galaxy

@TheBlackknight720 Super Mario Galaxy 2: There are 121 green stars in the game. You can only collect them after you beat the game once (as mario or Luigi. It doesn't matter who). Every galaxy has green stars. You need to get all the green stars to unlock the last galaxy, Grandmaster galaxy.

Basically.....Green Stars are different in the 2 games. There are only 3 in super mario galaxy 1 while there are 121 green stars in super mario galaxy 2. DO YOU GET IT NOW???

What confused me is that this video clip is obviously from Galaxy 1, but then you mentioned collecting "over 50 stars" (which apparently is something from Galaxy 2). So I thought the 50 stars were in Galaxy 1, and they'd only appear if you play as Luigi or something.
